Mega Brands - MEGA Brands - HALO - 343 Guilty Spark Building Toy Kit

I bought this around 1pm today and just finished a few minutes ago (6:30pm) it was so much fun to build, only two pieces gave me a hard time but I eventually figured it out, and it works great and the stand functions great. I am still figuring out the different phrases since I have only heard about 6 of the 15. As a die hard Halo fan this piece is amazing. I wish it was more life-size but other than that it's amazing. 100% perfect.

Worst product I have ever bought! Pieces either stick together and are impossible to separate even with the brick separator or you have pieces where you look at wrong and they separate and scatter all over the place. I will never buy another Mega Block set again. Great concept but whoever put the instructions together has clearly never built a single one of their products ever. I love Halo and was so excited to build this set and display it in our game room. The speakers and lights work but if the batteries need replaced you have to take the whole thing apart to replace them. If you hate a collector this is a great this to buy them because they will be so frustrated they are in tears.

I got this as a birthday gift not just a few days ago, he's a great thing and is quite close to the actual game Guilty Spark. The only downsides I've found are it's a bit repetitive which is to be expected since he's almost a ball, but also on the box. The QR code doesn't actually give you a list of his voicelines and lights but instead just takes you here to the website. If the QR code actually gave a list of his voicelines then it would be a 5 star at least in my opinion.

Well now its become more of just a "me" project but im still in the middle of putting together and pretty proud of myself. However I will warn you it can get a bit hard. I am excited to see the finished product.

Pretty fantastic build. My biggest concern after completed was how the …. Do I change the batteries. In this day why isn’t this a rechargeable usb power supply. 3xAAA batteries for an LED array and a sound card is crazy. Maybe they’ll offer an upgrade to replace the power supply/sound /LED Core. Otherwise, this is a fun afternoon build and a cool display for you game shelf.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] oh my a lil complicated! my kids have spent a few hours working on this thing already and the Halo 343 Guilty Spark by Mega still isn't put together... that's not a bad thing... no not at all, I'm enjoying the piece and quite LOL I think I'm more excited for it to get finished I mean come on it talks and lights up!!

The game was shrouded with lots of mysteries with hidden motives and knowledge that will keep players intrigued. Alos, throughout the game, Guilty Spark serves as both a guide and antagonist, providing a multifaceted experience for players. In my opinion, one of Guilty Spark flaws is the Blue-happy phrases activated with a single click, while red-angry phrases require to double click. Also, the only way to change batteries is minor disassembly of the sphere and almost complete disassembly of the core - the process took seem time and it's really not a user-friendly design. I recommend switching out with better batteries. The ones that are included did not last long at all (AAA batteries)

There were a few times the building pieces didn't want to stay together but overall it is a great piece to have on display! It is also a great addition to have it be able to light up and make sounds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Why is this soo hard?! We’re by no means experts, but we’re also not novices at building blocks. This set has been a challenge for my kids and I. The pieces fit flimsy and every time we move forward to attach the pieces together they pop off! Instead of a fun family time, it has been quite frustrating putting this together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun build! My 12 year old had minimal trouble assembling. He said connecting the main parts together was a little tricky because the connector pieces kept snapping out of position. The sound effects and lights were identical to the game and make for a nice extra touch. It makes for a very cool display in his room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were sent the Mega Halo Guilty Spark set to check out snd review. My son who is 13 used to love building LEGOs and kind of lost interest due to phone, tablet, VR, Xbox video games, etc. At first he was reluctant to want to build this but then he seemed to enjoy it. I think his interest in Halo and the lights/sounds feature intrigued him. The box says for 18+ but he is 13 and was able to build this on his own. He said it took him a few hours each day over the span of 3 days to finally complete the build. It was nice that this engaging building kit set finally gave him a break from all the screentime. He was reminded of how much he likes to build things and enjoyed the challenge. He was satisfied to have finally completed it all on his own despite it being rated for 18+. I guess its possible for tweens to do to but they'd need assistance he said. Thanks Mattel for letting us try this awesome set out and giving my son a break from all the screentime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is listed as 18+ but my 12 year old was able to easily follow the instructions. He liked it, especially the voice features. His only criticism was that it was wobbly on the stand. Overall, I was impressed at its ability to entertain a kid who is too old and cool for toys.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was very durable and able to be reused once opened. The pieces were sorted into numbered bags which made assembly more manageable. The instructions were detailed and easy to follow with pictures. While all of this made assembly easier, the product was a little fragile when constructing which made the process take longer than it should. The finished product is great and has held up fine sitting on a desk shelf.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea seemed like a good idea but in reality it was alot. My son who is 13 had a tough time getting the blocks to stay in place. He finally gave up midway through building it. This is not a good idea.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a must have for Halo fans! The 343 Guilty Spark is a great addition to my son's collection. It is a great set and fun build that is just a bit more challenging than some other sets (thus the 18+ target audience tag), but my 15 year old was able to complete it without issue. The pieces click together well and the instructions are easy to follow. He loves that this model features lights and sounds as well. A great added touch to the replica; however, when the AAA batteries need to be replaced, you will unfortunately have to disassemble the model to do so. So be sure to save your instructions! Besides this one design flaw, this is a great set to add to your collection!

The instructions is also easy to read and follow. I would highly recommend getting this product either as a gift to anyone or a collectible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is so cool! We have build a lot of sets between our three kids and this one is by far the most exciting. The lights and sounds are far more impressive than anticipated and the overall appearance is sleek. The structure is sturdy and it went together well with no issues. The instructions were clear and easy to follow so everyone could jump in on the fun. It is an adult set so my husband supervised and jumped in where he was needed but it was equally as exciting (if not even more) for him! I highly recommend this set for anyone looking for something new and unique to add to their collection.
