Summer Craft Custom Sunglasses Decoration Kit 2ct - Mondo Llama™

The glue provided in this kit does not have any Material Safety Data Sheet information, which is a problem because when it got on my 10 year old daughter’s hand she immediately told me how it felt like her skin was burning. Her friend (8 years old) also had the same reaction when it got on her skin, and described it as the feeling of the glue coming off a hot glue gun. We ran water over their hands to help remove the glue, but that was just a guess, as the glue states it is waterproof. Additionally, the information provided on the tube is poorly translated English, and is not helpful for the user. That said, the craft is cute, although time consuming, and some kids may not have the patience for it.

This art kit is meant for adults. The gems are tiny, but the kit comes with a tool to help pick them up. The glue is strong but doesn't dry super fast so you can work with the gems a bit. I haven't glued the letters down, as I didn't put those on my pair. I think they turned out cute.

My kids and I had a great time decorating sunglasses for them to wear to an upcoming party at school. I love how easy it was to set up our work station and for them to use the items in the kit. Everything is neatly separated for easy setup and the instructions were very clear too.

When I saw these I instantly thought of my sister and her two kids. These are sized more for an adult and are not intended to be used as sunglasses. I told my nieces to make them for there mom to use around the house and they loved it.

This was a fun project to make. I liked that everything was included even a tray to pour the gems and jewels onto and a sticky pen to help pick them up and attach them to the glasses. We had a lot of fun decorating our glasses and had plenty of supplies left over.
