If I could give this zero stars I would. I will preface with we have 2 hatch devices for our kids and havenโt had issues with those. Well, after 2 hours of endless cycling on updating firmware and refusing to connect to their app the device still would not work. For $170 it shouldโฆ.work. Will be returning and could not recommend less

The app you HAVE to download undermines the entire point of the product
Genuinely impossible to set up without signing up for a subscription. There is actually no way to continue setting up the device past a certain point unless you subscribe to an additional monthly or annual charge for unclear features, so that sucks. The device itself works well but between the kinda scammy subscription situation that is not reasonably disclosed when you purchase, and the fact that you can easily turn the alarm off in the app youโre *required* to download, ultimately rendering it as useless as a normal iPhone alarm that you can just snooze, I wouldnโt recommend it for anyone trying to break that habit and am still searching for a better executed/less extortionate version of this product myself. Why do physical alarm clocks need apps? Or subscription models? Itโs a good idea but somewhere along the way the plot was lost.

I am absolutely obsessed with my Hatch Alarm clock. It has been apart of my daily routine for the last 4 years and I will continue to have it incorporated into my routine. Hatch has been grate with ensuring my hatch has always been working and will replace or fix any problems that arise.

The subscription is pretty ridiculous
Title says it all. I like the product, but itโs overpriced for the value. I would rate it 4 stars for that, but dropped it another star to 3 because they make you have a subscription. For a product such that deserves heavy scrutiny - itโs completely unnecessary.

My hatch gets really quiet, maybe even silent in the middle of the night now matter how much a turn up the volume to start with and the morning light is maybe wayyy too bright. I think I can fix the brightness somehow on the app. . but what do I do about the fluctuating volume? My friend that introduced me to hatch says hers doesnโt do that and maybe I happen to get a defective one?

It's good but a few issues
I love the white noise and lights - but two major issues. I need the routine to flow. So after wind down, I need it to go to sleep after 1 hour. My Hatch is across the room, I don't want to get out of bed or use the app to transition from unwind to sleep. The alexa integration is PAINFUL. This is such an absolute killer. I would love to ask my alexa to switch from unwind to sleep, but it's literally impossible to integrate. I try to log in via the alexa app, but it requires username and password, but there is no hatch password anymore. I LOVE the magic link, hate a password, but it's making it impossible to do alexa integration. I have tried everything. Please figure this out, I beg.

Nice console, awful app
The console is soothing, great volume controls, beautiful lights, easy to use. The app is not intuitive and needs a complete overhaul to be more UX friendly. Selecting the wind down, the overnight white noise and wake up process was clunky and it's hard to change settings. Previews should play automatically.

A Beautiful and Thoughtful Upgrade to My Sleep Routine
