[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the ubbi pinch guard and they have been such a great safety addition in my home. They do exactly what their design to do. It keeps doors from slamming shut , which in turn protects little fingers from getting stuck in door frames and prevents injuries . They come with everything they need and is super easy to install! It includes The tape to keep them securely in place (be sure to clean the area you are applying it too so it sticks better). I don’t have to worry about them falling or slipping because the tape is heavy duty. Another very convenient feature is they are adjustable so if I ever need to fully close the door, I can just adjust it to where it doesn’t block it from being closed. And you can put the pinch guard up high so little ones can’t reach it. The instructions are super easy to read and have visuals so you can more understand. The instruction booklet is also universal, they have instructions for all of their safety products so you won’t need different booklets laying around. Overall they are a very convenient safety item to keep on hand. This is a must have for any home that has little ones roaming around! Would love these for cars as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried so hard to put these up. I tried to angle them so they would fit the door. They just fell off each time. The adhesive just want strong enough for my doors. I'm sure if you can get them up there that they would work but you would have to be willing to use some kind of super glue. They have smiley faces to help you put them up correctly. They aren't hard to line up and you get two chances with the tape to try and install them. They are white so if you have light colored walls they basically blend in.

She’s in a door shutting and opening stage and these pinch guards are everything. Installation was so easy. The command strips made applying a breeze when we stuck it to the wooden door frames. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re of fan of Ubbi products in this house and I was excited to learn they had door pinch guards! We have a few kids and their fascination with opening and closing doors hasn’t diminished with each consecutive kid - in fact, doors seem MORE interesting! With our latest kiddo, I knew I wanted to keep their little fingers safe from the French-door closet we’ve got. The pinch guards are hefty and thick - I can fit my whole hand in the gap. Which is good to know that I am also safe from a surprise door slam. The guards themselves have silicone sides so that the door isn’t whacking loudly on plastic. The closet door is easy to open even if the pinch guard is in place and in position. The pinch guard guard’s swing is extremely wide; it can be swung completely in either direction with its 180° swing. I have noted from other users that the mounts rip off paint, so I decided to use another (easier to remove) method since having time to do paint touch ups with kiddos is far and few in between! But overall I am very confident in these pinch guards’ safety!

I am slightly worried about the door paint when I remove it - not planning to do so for a while.

I’m a little worried about the sticky tape staying long term, but we’ll see. It seems secure for now. The door stopper is rubber so when the door does hit it, it doesn’t make a loud sound so that’s a plus. Pretty easy and budget friendly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With two under 5 and one on the way these are going to be a life saver! Especially on all the doors we use all the time anyway! Because these little ones sure love to slam a door but these are even “hulk” proof my son says cause he gave it his slam test and it bounced right back, I’ll admit when o first received them I was CONFUSED on what they were but after looking at it for a minute I realized and they’re such a good idea .

They have texture and so it doesn’t make a good adhesion to the door frame making them pop off very easily, but they still work as long as you don’t pull on them to switch it from keeping it open or closed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As much as I wanted to like these, they just dont function as they should. For starters, they're advertised to "fit most door frames." I have several different door frames in my home, and they only sat flush on one, which happened to be a door frame where this wouldn't be necessary. You can see in the images and videos that it doesn't lay flat on 2 different door frames, so it wobbles when both touched and being used. So, if your frames aren't flat in the exact right spot (which most aren't), then they don't hold super well. Additionally, I did misplace the first one on the frame, so I had to reapply it, and I am glad I did. Otherwise wouldnt have known that they are not actually gentle on paint. I hadn't even pushed it down firmly before trying to move it, and it still managed to peel the paint. I did not pull it very hard, either. However, I DO think they will work and be sturdy on the right door frames. That being said, 2 stars because they WOULD work, but didnt for me, though they are advertised to.

I used these two on pantry and closet doors where my toddler like to open. It's helpful so far that she didn't get her fingers stuck. I recommend this most have when you have toddler. It is think and sturdy with a soft rubbery lining to help cushion. Installation will be easy with the 3m sticker provided. I do worry if the door is forced with this in between the door and the frame that it will damage the door. We will see in the long term.
