[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carseat has been so good for us. The light bar has saved us and our baby many tears on car rides. He loves them! It is easy to get in and out of the car and connects so smoothly to our stroller we bought with it. Our friends that spent double the price were also impressed with the quailty.

This is my third baby since 2019 and now my third carseat from evenflo with the sensorsafe technology. Installation of the base is always super easy and fast. The quality has always been an A+, the padding is super thick and comfortable. It was a little on the pricey side since this one comes with sensory soothe but I am absolutely OBSESSED with it. Seems super light weight compared to most carseats but im sure will be heavier once there is actually a baby in it. I cant wait to see how my baby loves it when he arrives.

What an absolute gem of a carseat. Everything about it is amazing. The quality is the best. All the special features that it has makes it so safe and allows us peace of mind. The buckles are very safe and comfy to my baby with no worries it can hurt his chest. My baby fits in there very comfortable. Stability is great. It does not move from its base at all. It is very easy to carry and not too heavy. The lights are an absolute plus. Baby loves it. Cleaning is super easy as well.

We searched ,as I know many parents do, forever for the perfect car seat. I am so pleasantly pleased with this one from the safety and piece of mind it gives us when having others traveling with our baby to the peace it gives from the sensory soothe light bar and sound machine. This is a great, affordable car seat that does it all. We were going to go with another big name brand seat but there are no additional safety feature like the litemax has on the market for the price this one is at. We cannot wait to upgrade to another Evenflo car seat in the future!

Love this Caesar! My little one loves the light bar and sounds. The only down side is the sensory safe get frustrating when either myself or my husband run into the store while the other is in the car. It constantly says “child in car” I wish it had a travel system but I can live without one! Great car seat all in all.

Baby loves the lights and sounds. The seat is easy to install. The chest clip is really annoying. It dings over everything, is scratches her when I try to bring her arms through because it is sharp on the backside of the clip and all you have to do is push a button to unclip it, which is fine while she is 2 months. . . it won't be when she is 9 or 10 months and can undo it easily by herself.

My son since he has been five months old has had the hardest time in the car. He is a little boy who trives off of visual stimulation and distraction. I norrmally hang a toy from the handle of his current car seat but I am always worried about the safety concern of having a toy in his car seat with him unsupervised. This car seat has the distraction built right into the handle with lights and sounds to soothe your baby while in the car. It is easly controlled from the car seat itself but can be adjusted to whatever time length and song choice your desire straight from your phone! I also love that I can use the hands free option in my car to turn it on and don't have to unsafely whip my phone out in the car when the tears start. My son seems comfortable and snug every time he rides it in. It was super easy to install and is a reasonably light car seat to carry around even for someone with chronic back pain! I personally so far while using it have not had any alerts from the safety clip but I know it will come in handy in the future on long car drives and as my son gets older to be alerted in the car was an unsafe temperature, if he got the chest clip undone, it was time for a break from the car seat, or if I ever left him accidentally in the car. The design is sleek and crisp, I found it to be very stylish additional to all of it's other wonderful aspects! I would highly reccommend this car seat to anyone looking for a reasonbly priced, safe, and fun car seat for their kiddo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, let’s talk about the innovative Evenflo LiteMax NXT with sensory soothe – this car seat looks super sleek, modern, and luxurious. The fabric and design are gorgeous (finally, a car seat that doesn’t scream “baby gear” in the worst way), and our little one fits like a cozy little baby burrito. The Sensory Soothe technology has been a total game changer. We used to have to always bring out white noise machine to attach to the car seats for naps on the go or for fussiness. Now, when she gets fussy in the car, the built in soft lights and white noise help calm her down almost immediately. And the best part? It’s all app controlled! So no need to worry about manually pushing buttons if you’re driving. You can also program it to turn on with siri voice command. One feature we didn’t know we needed: it alerts us if the car gets too hot OR if she’s been in the seat too long – such a smart safety touch, especially during road trips or warm days. Now for the real talk: while we’re loving the tech and safety features, it’s not without a couple downsides. It doesn’t seem compatible with any of our current strollers, which has made outings a little trickier than expected. And while the snug fit is great for safety, it’s almost too snug! getting her out can be a bit of a challenge compared to two other seats we tried. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had my second child so I was really excited to try the Evenflo LiteMax NXT Infant Car Seat with SensorySoothe through Stellar Product Testing Panel. My first impression was great. I love and was impressed with the way the car seat looks and was curious about all the features. I wasn't sure how much I would use all of them but the music feature has been fun to try and my baby does seem soothed by it. Once my child is a little older I think they will enjoy the lights feature too. All the features have been easy to use and we have really been enjoying the car seat so far. If you are into the tech features and a great overall car seat for comfort and safety I highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. After testing it out, I've decided that I actually really like it. The fabric isn't all that thick overall, but there's extra padding under baby's bum, and there's cushioning on the sides too. She seems very comfortable. The embroidered details make it look a bit more luxe and it's so nice that the fabric is Greenguard Gold Certified. It's made from recycled materials, but more importantly there's no flame retardant chemicals! I would recommend against the black though, because it gets warmer than other colors on hot days, so I'm a bit worried about summer coming up. The base for the seat was super easy to install and at first I thought the "bubble level" on this was a cheap alternative, but I've since come to realize that it actually makes it much easier for people to know for sure whether their incline is correct. We struggled a bit finding out how to get the batteries in the handle, only to learn there's a little paper guide attached to it with instructions for that... I would have preferred it were in the Quick Start Guide, but at least it's somewhere relevant. The arm itself works wonderfully and my baby loves it! We have a 4.5 hour trip coming up soon and I'm less stressed about it now with this car seat to help. I didn't expect it to have so many options or to have a voice activation setting. It's been very useful and the only downside I can think of is that the quality of the physical build could use a tiny bit more refinement. The perimeter of the light strip is not entirely flush with the main plastic of the handle, so it can sometimes be uncomfortable to carry the handle with your hand or a bare arm. Other than that, I'd one day love to see if they can incorporate a breathing monitor into the chest clip too. Something that counts breathes and notifies if it has been too long between breaths. That would help tremendously for moms like me who have babies with a condition that makes car seat use more stressful. With all that being said, I think this is a wonderful car seat and that it has so many useful ways to help you keep your baby safe and soothed.

It fit my 12 pound infant well and the provided newborn insert looks like it’d fit tiny babies. I wondered about fitting a larger than average infant until my 20 month sat in it and fit just fine (albeit she’s too tall to actually use it). I love the SensorSafe technology on the chest clip, and was impressed that it gave temperature and timing alerts. I quickly became aware of how much time my baby spends in her seat…fourth kid problems. And she has been enthralled by the SensorySoothe handlebar. It’s even keeping her sister occupied sitting next to her. My only gripes are the app, I still can’t figure out how to adjust the settings on the SensorySoothe, so we just roll with the preprogrammed ones. And the other thing I’ve had some issue with is where the harness routes through the crotch buckle, it’s a larger opening so my straps keep getting twisted. I’m pretty good at untwisting them now, but I feel like this could cause some misuse of the seat when in a hurry. The base was easy to install and the seat pops in and out easily, but also feels very secure. I tested it in a 2020 Dodge Ram, a 2022 Ford Expedition Max, and a 2016 Subaru Forester. Overall, I think this is a good car seat with some really cool features. Installing the base was a breeze and felt secure. The car seat looks great and has plenty of cushioning for a nice, cushy fit. One downfall in my opinion is that it is a very tight fit so it is difficult to get your baby out if you need to in a hurry and I could see it possibly being a little uncomfortable for the baby after awhile. The tech features are great and using the app is easy. It sends notifications to your phone for things like too hot or cold, the chest strap disconnecting, etc. but it would be nice if you could edit the notifications you get instead of receiving all notifications all the time. I think the real time alerts would come in more handy as our baby gets a little older. The light bar has very pretty colors and several options for light shows and sounds. The light bar does a great job of distracting and soothing our little one. It also has a night light feature but we have not used it yet. I really like how easy it is to latch the seat to the base and unlatch with the squeeze of a lever. The belts are easy to slide and adjust as your little one grows. One big improvement I would like to see is making the sunshade cover more area. I think it would be very beneficial to come farther forward to help keep the sun out of your baby’s eyes.

It has been a great addition to our family. Overall, the car seat in Jasper Black has a clean, classic look. The eco-friendly material is plush, but durable and the rich black color hides any stains. The car seat is light in weight, which has its advantages. However, we prefer a car seat that has a little more weight and substance. This car seat does not feel as sturdy as we would like. Also, we found that the angle and/or positioning the car seat puts our son in, is somewhat awkward. The car seat sits him more upright. We do not think this would be comfortable during longer car rides. The built-in tech features were the best aspect of the car seat. You can customize lights and sounds via the Evenflo app. We have found that we use the sounds, more than the lights. Also, the SensorSafe technology gave us peace of mind. It alerts you of potentially unsafe conditions…child unattended snd/or buckled too long and chest clip unbuckling and temperature. Overall, the car seat is nice. However, some features could be improved.

I loved that I was able to use the Evenflo app from the passenger seat to adjustment something for my daughter without waking her. The app itself was easy to use, and the real-time alerts are a bonus feature that I have not heard of with other car seats. Installing the seat was straightforward, and adjusting it was easy, as well. I look forward to using this carseat for time to come with the height and weight limits being slightly above my original infant car seat. In my eyes, that makes the cost even more worth it. Overall, this car seat puts smart technology features alongside important safety design. I'm very happy with this product!

My overall impression of this car seat was that it was an ingenious idea and that I wish I’d had it with my other children! I think the look was pretty standard, if not a little bare bones/budget-feeling, but the upgrades in the handle and buckle totally made up for that!! The built-in tech features were totally new to me and a welcome addition that I was happy to take just a few minutes to set up. That being said, I do think there are just a couple of glitches still to be worked through to perfect it so as to not set off unnecessary alerts (though I do appreciate more vs less when it comes to safety!). The setting options are vast and fairly easy to customize in the app, though I do need to spend a little more time selecting and saving favorites for it to cycle through. I LOVE the Siri option to activate it when I’m driving. We got to test the soothing capabilities with my newborn and were absolutely blown away when they worked like a charm. Baby’s crying stopped almost immediately on multiple occasions. I love that big siblings can activate it on the side of the car seat to help me too while we’re driving or out and about. My favorite safety feature of the car seat is the ability to tell you if you forgot baby or if baby is too hot or not properly clipped in. These are all things I worry about as a busy mom and so the app provides me instant peace of mind. I did want to mention that I found the adjustment of the car seat and also the base inside the car to be a bit trickier than alternative brands that I’ve used in the past. That being said, the fact that a base is included make it a quick process to use once you get it installed. I love this product and would recommend to all new parents!!

I was blown away by the features of this seat. My little one tends to get a bit antsy in the car and the build-in tech features were a dream to help keep him calm and happy. Gone are the days of traveling with a portable sound machine! Having a built-in sound machine that is controllable via their app is incredibly convenient. I was able to customize the sound, volume, and lights and I found the app intuitive and easy to navigate. The additional SensorSafe features that notify me if my son is too hot, becomes unbuckled, or has been left unattended give me a lot of peace of mind as well! Installing the base and seat was a breeze, and the directions were easy to follow. My son is 19 lbs now and I had no issues adjusting the seat to the proper fit with the provided instructions. I appreciated the range of motion of the car seat handle - allowing me to position it so that the lights are in view for my son. You need two available hands, however, to unlock and adjust the handle's position. This is not a negative, just something I will have to get used to when compared to my old car seat. The only item I was not impressed with was the shade. While it provided nice coverage, it did not have very smooth movement, and the feel of the material did not meet my expectations. In my opinion it did not convey the premium quality I was expecting when paired alongside the innovative tech features. If that is my only complaint though, I'd say this car seat is a winner! Overall, it has amazing, innovative features, and it's easy to use - I'd highly recommend this product to anyone!

Overall, I am impressed with this car seat - it is light weight, looks nice, and has convenient features for soothing my little one on the go. We've really enjoyed the built-in sound machine - it's definitely come in handy and it's easy to adjust the settings. I appreciate that you can also turn on / off without using a phone / app; it's nice to be able to use the buttons on the handle when you don't want to look at your phone or its not safe to do so. The light features are nice too, though I personally haven't found much use for lights, mostly because we don't do any driving past bedtime/when its dark out. I imagine this would be a nice feature if you needed light though! Again, I appreciate that you can just turn these on / off and cycle through the options just with a touch of a button on the handle. The sensor-safe features were easy to set up in the app, and the base was super easy to install in the car. Overall setup including both was under 10 minutes (but also not our first car seat). It was easy to adjust the seat for a proper fit, though it feels a little like the angle of the backrest pushes our little one's head forward a bit which makes me a little uneasy, and I haven't figured out if or how there is a way to fix that.

I really loved the built in sensor and app which provided alerts about potentially unsafe conditions such as temperature, whether she was buckled or not, and if she was left in the car by accident. The Evenflo app was also great for letting us customize the light bar’s colors, music, and sounds. The materials were non-toxic and eco-friendly but felt a little rough for an infant. The seatbelt kept getting twisted in the buckle and was very difficult to tighten. Installation was easy and the car seat is compact so fits nicely in our cars. The car seat meets federal safety standards but didn’t seem as sturdy as I would like. Overall, my daughter was comfortable and the standout feature is definitely the SensorySoothe technology.
