(re)zip Leak-proof Clear Essential Reusable Food Storage Bag - Snack, Lunch & Gallon - 4ct

These bags are really versatile and easy to clean. I literally just clean them on the inside and then either let them dry inside out or hang them overtop a cup or something overnight to dry. Kept up their seal despite my traveling from low to high altitude (which often makes bottles open - exactly why I needed something like this). Would definitely recommend! One thing to note is that they make no mention of the absence of phthalates on the pacakaging, so I would definitely give these a rinse before using it for food and keep hot/acidic stuff out.

I received a free sample of the reusable food storage bags. I really liked them. They were easy to use and held up well to various items. The only issue that I had was that they were a little difficult o clean and get dry after use and cleaning. However, I did like how they were reusable and I felt like I was doing something good for the planet.

I received this product in exchange for reviewing it. I like that the set came with different sizes. It’s perfect for packing lunches. 1 gallon bag, 2 sandwich and 1 snack. It makes it easy for kids lunches especially (as long as they rememeber to keep them!)

These bags are great. I’ve used and wash each size dozens of times. I Store the gallon size in the freezer mostly and each time it washes and dries and stores again easily. The only issue is that they stain with certain foods like coffee or tomatoe but I think that’s a problem with most reusable bags of a similar type

Buyer Beware!! Too bad this bag did not last :( Not tough enough for me. Stored my plate of dinner so they'd be ready to go, but after only a few washing the seal did not hold. In fact the seam split next to the "zip area" and the bag is useless. Very disappointed, and these things were not cheap. I did buy a sturdier silicone storage system Made in USA around the same time and although much pricier at least it won't be adding to our landfills sooner than I'd like. Unfortunately the size of those bags tend to be small.

My husband and I love these! We ordered a second set after a month of using our first set. I am very happy with the quality of these bags. I choose not to clean them in the dishwasher. I hand wash the bags in warm, soapy water and prop them up on a can of soup to dry.

I'm all about being eco-friendly so I loved the idea behind these baggies! Unfortunately, after a few weeks of use and wash, these baggies have become almost impossible to "zip"shut! The plastic they are made of is good quality but they just won't zip closed anymore. Super disappointed, as now I will have to buy more reusable baggies in another brand...

Love these reusable bags. They are sturdy and nice quality. I plan to seek out a few more sizes/styles from Blue Avocado.

I’ve been using the Blue Avocado set of 4 reusable storage bags for a little over a month and am glad to have them as part of my storage supplies. Of the three sizes in the kit, I use the lunch bags and snack bag the most. The lunch bags work well for adult or big kid sandwiches, sliced fruit or vegetables and the snack bag is great for smaller size lunches (half sandwiches) or smaller portions of fruits and vegetables for younger children. The seals are tight and the food I pack in them stays fresh. I haven’t tried putting anything in them that could leak, but from what I can tell, it wouldn’t be an issue. The thickness of the bags is a little heavy for more delicate foods, like ripe strawberries, and because the bags are flat (no bottom pleating) the weight of the plastic after being sealed can mush things. The bags are opaque, so it’s not always obvious what’s in them, especially if you use them to store dry goods, so I use a piece of masking tape to label the contents. It’s also a little tricky to get the bags clean and dry after using them. I rinse mine with dish soap and then turn them inside out, so they stand up and dry overnight. In the past, I’ve gone through box after box of disposable plastic bags packing meals for my family of six, and these bags have eliminated that need. I like that they’re a safe (BPA-free), environmentally friendly alternative to plastic bags and that they store most foods well. I was given a set of Blue Avocado (re)zip bags as a free sample for the purpose of this review, but I have since bought more of my own
