This detergent does NOT clean at all. It also does not smell good. I have also noticed allergic reaction itching since switching to SG. Unfortunately, we will no longer be purchasing SG detergents or softners.

I have very sensitive skin and this is my tried and true go-to. The scent is light and refreshing, and the quantity lasts a long time! I can also say it is effective in getting out cat pee smell, which is no easy feat.

I appreciate that it is a clean alternative to traditional detergents. However my only complaint is that it doesn’t leave a lavender smell as one would hope. But overall it gets the job done.

Ever since I had to switch to laundry detergent for sensitive skin due to my sensitivities to certain fragrances, I had started using 7th Generation and it's normally what I always use if it's available. I've tried a couple of the scented ones but I feel like the smell fades too fast so I just stick to the free and clear which works just as well.

I have used this detergent for a long time and plan to continue. It works well for me and importantly, is cruelty free. It is lightly fragranced ( non- chemically) and much better for the environment than other detergents. HOWEVER, I am so glad I read reviews a couple years ago or so, when the company designed new packaging. The new pour top (green) on the bottle is terrible! It leaks no matter what you do and they need to go back to the previous design. Others warned us with their reviews, so I was proactive enough to save my last bottle with the old cap. And every single time now I go thru the trouble of transferring the new bottle’s contents into the old bottle. PLEASE GO BACK TO YOUR PREVIOUS PACKAGING, SEVENTH GENERATION!

Solid product, though the bottle update was a mistake and I have been pouring it into the same old bottle for quite a while now. We used this for cloth diapering, so well tested. I will be seriously bummed and will go brand shopping if they discontinue it.

We use this detergent during hunting season (if you know, you know) and it works really well! Most of the time, I prefer a scented detergent but this is good if you want something clean and free of all of that!!

This is my go to laundry detergent when I want to make sure my clothes get clean, but also don’t have a soapy or scent filled residue. I know it will be gentle and not contain harmful chemicals! And it has kept to a fair price!
