Shark PowerDetect Upright Vacuum with DuoClean Detect Technology and Self-Cleaning Brushroll Purple - AZ3901: HEPA Filter, Multi-Surface, Pet Hair

I recently purchased this product and did not receive the second unit for my tile floors. The vacuum is outstanding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! This vacuum is amazing! It does require a little bit of assembly, but the instructions make it easy enough to put together quickly. There are endless amazing and useful features to this vacuum. One of them is the touchscreen mode selector. “Detect Mode” is a very helpful feature because the vacuum can detect the floor type and edges, and then it will adjust the suction power needed to clean that area and pull in any hidden dirt. “EdgeDetect” will make the vacuum focus on and maximize suction along corners and edges. When the vacuum detects an edge, the arrow indicator that is closest to that edge will brighten and illuminate hidden dirt. I also love that this vacuum has a self-cleaning brushroll. If there is any hair wrapped around the brushroll, the vacuum needs to be put in Carpet/Low Pile mode on a bare floor or a small rug area. Doing so allows the brushroll to remove the hair that is wrapped around and sends it to the dust cup. These are just a few of the features on this vacuum, and some of the ones that I have found to be the most useful and convenient so far. I would highly recommend this vacuum to anyone! I LOVE it and I think anyone who tries it would love it, too!

I purchased this vacuum about a month ago and so happy I chose Shark! I had a Dyson Pet with the ball for over 10 years and it was time for it to go!! The suction on this vacuum is fantastic and all of the attachments I received with it are awesome! I love how it "senses" on the sides and pulls dirt in from everywhere! I have ceramic floors and a cat, so as I'm vacuuming, I can see the cat hair getting pulled in. Amazing! Hope it lasts as long as my Dyson!

While the box it came in doesn't look like much, the instructions for putting it together were clear and vibrant the second I opened the package. Setup was so easy that I was up and vacuuming in less than 10 minutes. The vacuum has great pickup, and was clear to use. I like all the attachments that come with it, especially this one that I pictured that helps me pickup hair in small places. The different functions allow me to use it in the different spaces of my home, whether that's hardwood or carpet. The downside is that it is a little bit heavy to lug around to different spaces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a Fantastic vacuum! You can clean everywhere with this baby. It has super suction, like twice what I've had in other vacuums. You can detach the dust cup from the base and walk around to vacuum corners and celings and edges anywhere. Its light and gas great power, practically vacuumed the house by itself just pulling me around. Makes vacuuming fun. It pulls soo much dirt out of the carpet it might beat my steam cleaner!

I’m a vaccum addict. Have had Shark vaccum in the past. Saw an infomercial while surfing the channels and have been wanting another vaccum to use other than my canister. I’m giving this two stars because the suction is excellent otherwise it would get zero. This is by far the heaviest vaccum I have ever used. Something that would have been nice for them to disclose. I should have returned it but got busy and the deadline passed. I’m shocked that Shark would put out a vaccum that requires u to be in shape to push it back and forth. U would be crazy to buy this when Shark has other products that doesn’t require u to be in shape to clean up your house.

Just purchased and only used once so far but my gosh this thing is powerful. It sucked up all the dirt and mess on my bare floors and carpet. Also when moving forward it goes forward on its own. I have a feeling I am going to love this for a long time!! It is slightly heavy and noisy but I don’t care about that as I want a vacuum that really cleans my floors and this vacuum most certainly does that so if you want a vacuum that has super strong suction power this is the vacuum for you.

Bought two of these for my business, totally in love. I've gotten 4 different shark vacuums over the 2 years in my business cleaning 2 houses a day (I rotate the vacuums out at each house) and this one is by far my favorite. The only con so far is the weight, but it does pull itself forward. It's so much heavier, but the suction is incredible!! I would recommend stocking up on new filters. I ALWAYS change my vaccum filters as needed. This particular vaccum is have to wash them daily, but others only every couple uses. I do like the fragrance part, but they don't seem to last long at all. Not sure if it's because the ones that came with the vacuum are partial filled. Definitely 10/10 in my book.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shark Vacuum Now that I’ve given myself some time to review this amazing piece that I received from Shark I want to say that I’ve genuinely never purchased an upright vacuum because they always seemed heavy and bulky, while this one does have a bit of weight to it, it feels lighter than other upright vacuums we've seen in stores. This has a generous canister bin that is bagless, so you don’t have to bother purchasing bags. The long cord is a huge bonus which makes it easier to go from room to room without having to replug. Its anti-allergen HEPA filter picks up everything from dust to small debris, my floors feel so clean. With a family of four and our long-haired dog, this machine has been great to use daily. I love the DuoClean Detect feature which is my favorite it has sensors that detects automatically if you're on hardwood floors or rugs. It easily detects that for you. However, I do wish the hose was a bit longer as it makes a bit difficult to maneuver the machine when vacuuming. Aside from that I was very impressed with how much cleaning power it has. The self cleaning brushroll hasn't had any issues with all the long hair we've collected. It has been a whole month of testing this and it has been an enjoyable cleaning experience for my our family. With two kids, two cats, and a dog, cleaning my floors is a daily task, now made better with the Shark PowerDetect Vacuum! The suction power can easily change thanks to the Floor Detect that has sensors to detect if it’s cleaning hard floors, carpet/low pile, or thick carpet/area rug. Since I have such a mix of flooring in my home, this is my favorite feature! Plus the two-brush roll system picks up every hair or speck of dirt I see! My only complaint is wishing the hose was longer and more flexible, since I have a knack for knocking over the entire vacuum when using the attachments but I’m hopeful this will get better over time. I truly love this vacuum and highly recommend it for anyone with kids and pets!

The vacumn is good, cleans well...But in no way is this vacumn light..very heavy, even when you detach to do other cleaning, the part you remove and have to carry around is also very heavy.

I bought this late October and am so impressed. I cannot believe the amount of dirt and dust when I have a clean home, where did it come from? I am giving it 4 stars for the following reasons. I wish it had a longer hose or one that stretched better. I wish the wand would be in two pieces so when you lift away, you can attach a shorter wand, and when you lift away, because the hose is short and does not stretch, you have to carry it, you cant set it down and work or it tips over. I find it hard (for me) to carry and try to vacuum at the same time. Otherwise LOVE IT. A 10 star winner if a few tweaks were made. All the rest I have no complaints about.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is powerfull and you can use it on any surfaces( hard wood, laminate floor, or carpet). The only thing i loved is how it work on carpet because it can automatic detect the surface and change the suction if needed. It can take out the tiny dust while my order Dyson not able to do.

I purchased this a few months ago. This is my 3rd shark vacuum and by far the worst shark vacuum I’ve purchased. The self adjust is horrible and the suction on hard floors does not grab small debris.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this vacuum has solid performance, picks up dirt and dust really well even on thicker carpets. it’s efficient and saves me a lot of time with the powered lift-away feature. maintenance is straightforward, and the self-cleaning brushroll helps avoid hair tangles. i also like the allergen control; it seems to trap dust better than other vacuums i’ve had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always been a Dyson vacuum advocate. I currently own the Animal Ball and one of the cordless V series models. I didn’t think any vacuum could match a Dyson’s suction power—until now. I was fortunate enough to receive this Shark vacuum to test, and I have to say, it’s amazing. Its suction power, accessories, and ease of use are all comparable to Dyson. This bagless vacuum also has an incredibly long cord, which is very convenient. The only downside is that the cord isn’t retractable, but otherwise, it’s perfect. Great job, Shark! I highly recommend it.

I vacuumed over an area that had been vacuumed by my Bissell, and I was stunned to see what came out of the carpet. The light on the front makes the floor easy to see. The suction power was much better than leading competitors. The vacuum is quiet, and easy to maneuver. There is built in odor control, which I have never had on a vacuum. The vacuum is easy to clean and maintain. I’m over the moon about this vacuum! Can’t wait to see how it holds up long term.

It’s heavier than I thought, but overall awesome! I’d like the hose to be longer also. Suction is incredible.
