Arrived with a very small dent on the can lid that you can only see at certain angles. Don’t love the dent, but didn’t want to go through the process of making a return. I love the can and I have purchased many simplehuman products from multiple soap dispensers and too many trash cans to remember. Missing the blue insert which made taking heavy bags out it less difficult. Two bags have ripped while removing the garbage bag once full. The free air freshener is a waste of time. Doesn’t smell like anything Pretty disappointed to be honest. Previous one of 4-5 years pins broke so wouldn’t open.

I absolutely love this step can! I’ve had this same size (45L) for almost 10 years and just upgraded to the matte black version — the finish is phenomenal. I was a little worried it might get dirty easily, but that hasn’t been an issue at all. The matte black looks stunning against my white walls — bold and modern. Functionality is top-notch, as always. The step mechanism has never failed me, and the built-in liner pocket is genius. I’m also a big fan of the new odor control tabs in the lid. Highly recommend — both stylish and super practical!

We like the new Rectangular Step Can. We had another one for 19 years and it finally died. The all metal construction of this one is an upgrade from the older model. There is no plastic on this can to wear out or crack. I like the collar that surrounds the can's rim. I really keeps the liner in place. Very happy with our new Super Human trash can.

First one was left at the prior residence as u didn’t need it. So when I had to purchase again, I went with the same model. Love it, the design hides the top of the trash bag, I hate seeing that and I and love the bag holder. Also like the large stepping bar vs a tiny one often seen. Its very solid and holds up very well. As it should because it isn’t cheap! But well worth the price.

We just received our 45L can. We also own a 55L can. The 45L size is perfect for our small family. I love the scent pod feature. And I love how the bags for I yo the back of the can. Speaking of the bags, they are a perfect fit and I have never in all these years had a single bag leak or tear! AMAZING!!!😻
