Skullcandy Method 360 ANC True Wireless Earbuds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Skullcandy Method 360 ANC True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds for about a month, I can confidently say they’ve exceeded my expectations in a lot of ways. The active noise cancelling is surprisingly good for the price — it's not "complete silence" like some high-end models, but it definitely blocks out most background noise during my commute and workouts. The 360 spatial audio feature really adds an extra dimension, especially when I'm listening to podcasts or watching videos. Sound quality has been consistently impressive. The bass is strong without drowning out vocals, and the mids and highs are crisp enough that I never feel like I'm missing details. After a month, the battery life still holds up nicely — I get about 6 hours with ANC on, and the case gives me two or three full recharges. Comfort is where these really shine for me. I have pretty sensitive ears, but even after wearing them for hours, I barely notice any discomfort. They stay put during runs and gym sessions, and the IPX4 rating has held up — no issues with sweat or light rain. The touch controls took a few days to get used to, but now they feel natural, and the Skullcandy app has been a handy bonus for tweaking the sound. Tile tracking gives extra peace of mind, although luckily I haven't had to use it yet! If I had to nitpick, the ANC could be a little stronger, and the case is a bit chunkier than I’d like for my pocket. But overall, after a full month of daily use, I’m super happy with the purchase — great sound, real comfort, and solid features at a price that feels more than fair. Love the sound and I don’t even notice that I am wearing them. Very comfortable. I went for a jog and had no issues with them staying in place.

I was very impressed with the quality of ANC and they work as good as my airpods. I may replace my airpods with these now. The plastic casing could have been done a bit better as it feels cheap. Fit: out of the box the rubber covers were too big so I swapped for smaller ones. There are three sizes so you should be able to find a decent fit! Battery life: the charging case is pretty robust meaning it gets a longer battery life. I appreciate that it has a key ring as it was bulky. Durability: so far these have been dropped but I haven't felt they are fragile at all. Like I said the case being bulky isn't ideal but it does protect. Comfort: being able to adjust sizing with the in ear part as well as the separator ring helps to find a good fit. Overall they are bigger than airpods but seem comfortable enough!

The bass is also good in true skullcandy fashion. Compared to my Samsung Buds Pro 2, the vocals are not as clear. The ANC is comparable. Pairing was a seamless experience

These are noise canceling and when wearing them I truly cannot hear anything around me. I would definitely recommend them to others who are in the market for good quality earbuds.

The intensity can be controlled from the Skull IQ app. The Stay-Aware mode also works well. Controls: Tap controls are accurate and very responsive. The Skull IQ offers additional settings like hearing modes, EQ, button settings, take a photo, multipoint pairing, low latency mode, and Spotify Tap. Fit: These headphones include S, M, and L gel sizes. It also includes optional fins for an extra snug fit. I found these headphones secure during physical activity. Not the lightest, but isn't heavy either. Case: The case will easily be the most polarizing design decision for most. The carabiner-style sliding case is intended to be attached to a bag or purse. With the logo facing up, you need to slide the case away from yourself to get the correct L/R orientation. The earbuds are on opposing sides, which can feel very awkward when orienting them back into the case. In addition, the case is bulkier than a standard case, which would make it less suitable for other applications like attaching to a running belt. Sound: The clarity of calls is exceptional. The sound profile on this is bassy with recessed mids. The Skull IQ offers presets for Music, Bass boost, Podcast, and a custom equalizer. Personally, I've tried each setting and found the unnaturally bassy sound to be quickly fatiguing.

The earbuds also came with multiple sizes if needed although the default worked for me. I use them everyday at the gym.

They're solid for casual listening—great battery life, intuitive auto-pause when removed, and they do a good job blocking out street noise on the train or streetcar. However, the active noise cancellation (ANC) has its limitations. While effective against environmental noise, it struggles in a busy café, where conversations still seep through. Another drawback is the loud voice prompt upon startup announcing battery life and connection status—it's jarringly loud every time. For running, I wouldn't recommend them. Every step produces an odd echo, making the experience feel unnervingly claustrophobic. The listen-through feature helps with awareness of street sounds, but it doesn’t work well for conversations. The charging case looks like a mace canister, and is way too bulky to put in a pocket. Overall, they’re a good pair of earbuds, but not a standout in terms of features compared to competitors. If the price is right, they’re worth considering, but there are better options out there for runners or those seeking more tech savvy earbuds.

A few months ago, I purchased a different brand that had a significant higher price point and these out perform them in almost every way. These are hands down the most comfortable earbuds that I own and I appreciate that they have a long lasting charge. The sound quality is excellent and the app makes it easy to change/tweak settings.
