Not Durable, Day one failure!
On day one it will not pop back into the flat position. Difficult to use comfortably, or easily, in one finger or two finger mode (I do not have chubby fingers!). Difficult to find proper position to lock it for using it as a kickstand, impossible if in a dark environment. The magnets are strong, which is the only positive point I see in this grip.

didnt last 48 hours
I loved how thin and strong the magnetic was with the burga cases for android but literally 2nd day using it won't snap closed "the phone grip that doesn't suck" does in fact suck. a waste of 40 dollars

Garbage product
They literally took a piece of junk and packaged it like it’s worth 40 bucks, and I was dumb enough to fall for it. The magnet is not strong and the finger grip feels less secure and lower quality than a ring pop.

This is my third purchase because I like it
I've been using OhSnap grips for a few years now and I have enjoyed the leveling up they've done from plastic styles to a metallic look. I got one of my first grips for free from a person I toured in Los Angeles and then I needed to buy another after I switched to a new phone some years later. Also the plastic on the inside of the grip is light, it is surprisingly durable and I want to try the newest one with the stand. My boyfriend gets a lot of tech products since he is a content creator and I still go out and buy this product because it is worth it to me.

Not worth the price point. The finger loop if overused seems like it would break . And I had high hopes especially with being able to leave the grip on the back of my phone while charging on wireless charges it does not work.

I miss the old ones
I got a new phone so I bought another oh snap and after about 6 months of use, I have to say, I am not a fan of the new design. I thought having magnets instead of stick on would be great, but it is actually pretty annoying. Every time I drop my phone it flys off and now several of the little magnets have popped off so it falls off even easier. The part you pop out is also so much harder to pop out one handed than the old ones were. So I either end up not bothering to use it, which makes it more likely that I drop my phone or I have to use both hands. The wireless charging also doesn’t work very well when the snap is attached. Really bummed because I loved the old design and I thought I would like the updated version even more, but alas it was not for me.

Excellent Grip
I love how low profile it is. Had it for about a week so far and I really like the form and the function. Only concern is how long it will last as the hinges are very thin. Which is also a plus.

Awkard design. Stick with pop sockets
I needed a new phone stand because my magnetic pop socket broke. I gave this a try. I found it awkward to use. I don't like how you have to push down on the side for it to pop out and the part you hold your fingers on is not comfortable for even a short amount of time. I ended up returning and buying a pop socket.

Magnet Too Weak to Hold Phone on Metal Surfaces
As a long-time OhSnap user, I’m really disappointed with this new version. My previous grip worked flawlessly until it broke, and I had no issues at all with magnet strength using the same phone and case setup I have now. With the Snap Grip 5, my phone slides down metal surfaces instead of holding firmly in place like it used to. The difference is very noticeable and frustrating, especially since nothing else in my setup has changed. It’s also worth noting that I’m not alone in this. Many other longtime users have reported that the external magnet feels weaker on this version.I expected an upgrade, but this feels like a step backward. Do better, OhSnap.

Miss adhesive
Love the grip itself. But I have to take the new one off in order to use mag car mounts. Or adjust to find the sweet spot so it doesn’t fall off. The adhesive version never gave me that issue. It stuck to other magnets and metal PERFECT. And I now see I can’t choose to buy the adhesive one either. Kind of a bummer.

Slim design but weak magnet
I like the slim design but the MagSafe magnet was so weak, it kept sliding off my MagSafe chargers. The magnet on my iPhone 17 pro was actually stronger without the OhSnap Grip. I’ll be returning this.

Works fantastic but coating slowly scratches off
The snap grip works perfectly. It’s easy to use, you can hold it multiple ways. And I love that you can use it as a stand. The only down side after using it for about 2 months is the matte coating on the outermost ring slowly starts to chip off. This has no affected the function it’s just something to be aware of if that would bother you.

Works Pretty good
The only problem I have is that this is great for smaller hands. Larger hands (fingers) are a little difficult to slip them in and hold. Other than that, it works as designed.

Meh
I find the skinny, folding plastic components underneath the grip plate to be uncomfortable. They stab and dig into my fingers when the phone is resting on them. I can see the indentations on my fingers. To snap it open, you have to kind of fumble and finagle with it before you get it to open and get it to a comfortable usable position. If it’s sideways and the plastic pieces are vertical underneath the grip plate, it digs into your skin. If you open it but not at the right angle, the hinging pieces poke you. Because of this, the only comfortable holding position for me is to use the finger loop option. Which again, you have to feel around for before you find the correct grip position to be able to use this feature. My ring size is 4.5, so I have tiny fingers, and I’m finding it to be snug. If you have larger fingers I think you’d struggle to use this feature.I’m also finding that I’m still using my pinky to stabilize my phone half the time. This phone grip being magnetic means you can’t move it any lower, like you could with traditional adhesive grips, to make typing easier. Overall, I’m underwhelmed given all the hype I’ve seen about these grips. I’m most let down by how uncomfortable it feels on my fingers.

Bring back the older model
I just upgraded to the new snap grip from the previous gen and am severely disappointed. I’m upset that the adhesive is now “an upgrade to purchase” instead of coming pre-installed like the previous models, and the magnets are not nearly as powerful as they used to be. My iPhone 15 pro max used to stick to literally everything with the old models, now it slides off of everything I try to stick it to INCLUDING ohsnap’s mounts that are designed to hold their product. Ohsnap claims they had “problems” with the old magnets and pass through charging, but that was never once a problem that I had with the three units I e owned previously. Long story short: do better ohsnap, I am severely disappointed.

Love!
This is my 2nd ohsnap! magnet for my phone and I love the color and that it can be easily removed. The only thing I've noticed is that it doesn't seem to stick to my car holder as it did with the previous one. It still works, just not as well.

It’s not the best
I got it so I can charge my phone wirelessly through it, and that part works. The actual pop socket thing feels super flimsy and isn’t comfortable to use. I want to clarify that while it feels Lyndsay, it’s actually super strong. I just don’t like the way that it feels. Plus it’s hard to get it to wirelessly charge unless it’s lined up perfectly

Breaks in over less than a year
I had mine since mid October, the plastic arms that you can put your finger through or use as a stand are slowly breaking off one by one
