Sony LinkBuds Clip Truly Wireless Open Earbuds (Greige)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great design. Feel very lightweight. Sound quality is impressive considering there is no seal whatsoever by design. Very easy to pair and connect. Just be sure to dl the Sony Sound Connect app. Upon connecting I did immediately have to update the firmware which is annoying. USB C charging is excellent and convenient. They arrived with about 85% charge out of the box so that was nice. The charging case is nice and compact. The only other open ear buds I've tried are the Baseus ones that had the sound by Bose. These are 2x the price and I'm not sure they are 2x better but so far they are definitely better.

The lavender color is absolutely beautiful and they are super lightweight and comfortable to wear. They stay securely in place without slipping, which is a big plus. The features are great and the noise canceling works very nicely. I’m still discovering everything they can do but overall I’m very impressed!

They are lightweight, sit comfortably on my ears, and are easy to wear throughout the day. The battery life for the ear buds lasts through my full 8-hour work day. The case provides up to 28 hours of additional battery life, which is very convenient. Simple taps on the ear buds allow you to play and pause music, adjust volume, switch between listening modes, and take calls. Call quality is really clear and powered with AI. The Sony Sound Connect app adds even more functionality, including an equalizer with presets, and multiple listening modes - Standard, Voice Boost, Sound Leakage Reduction, and Background Music. You can also set up scenes to automatically play music during activities like walking and driving. These are available in four different colors and are IPx4 water resistant. The linkbuds clip are my all time favorite for everyday ear wear. I have over the ear full cushioned, push in the ear, and hook over the ear, and all come with their own problems. Full cushioned I see as hazardous worn outside. Push in are uncomfortable for my tube size and have caused infection. Hook over the ear never feel fully secure. The clips fit perfectly, leave your ears free to hear electric cars when out and about, and apart from knowing you're listening with them, you can forget you are wearing them. Sound great - Comfy - Practical - Favorite for everyday listening.

I love that you can wear them and still hear the noise around you so your not so closed off from everything. The bass and the tap feature on the headphones are Awsome! The design is sleak but stylish and they are durable I am rough on my headphones i throw them in my purse I drop them and they have held up perfectly! I actually think the left and right indicators are just so you know the battery levels because I can swap them around with no issues. The clip feature makes it comfortable to use, listen to your favorite music and still be able to hear conversations around you. There is a slight learning curve as far as learning to put them in your ears but once you get it down, it’s like second nature. I’ve been using these for a couple weeks and I couldn’t love them any more. I have always used the “other” ear buds and I thought I loved them. I didn’t. I love THESE. They are like wearing nothing in your ears. I have worn them for hours and have forgotten they were in my ears. The sound quality is great. One of the best things about them being open ear buds is the safety aspect. You can still hear what is going on around you, while not being annoyed by it, if that makes sense. It’s especially helpful for exercising, walking the dogs, doing anything where you still need to be alert to your surroundings. They don’t fall out of your ears. They don’t loosen up. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been trying out the Sony Linkbuds Clip Earbuds for about a week now and I’m loving them! As a preface, I have very small ears, and in-ear headphones don’t usually work for me. I’ve been exclusively using my noise cancelling over-ear headphones for over 4 years now, and while I love the comfort, they aren’t very portable and the “transparency” setting isn’t the best. So after learning about the Linkbuds open-ear concept and clip design, it checked all the boxes in what I’m looking for in an earbud. My initial reaction was that the sound quality is great. The sensation of the open-ear design is almost like you’re playing music out loud, but it perfectly surrounds your head, instead of being IN your head. It’s great when you need to be aware of your surroundings. I’ve been using these daily while working, cleaning, shopping, and walking my dog. The battery life is great and they last me all day. It took a while for me to get fully comfortable using them, at first I felt like they were loose and might fall off, but I’ve had no problems at all. I highly recommend trying these if you don’t have success with normal in-ear headphones and want to be able to hear your surroundings.

I thought being open would allow others to hear anything but so far the sound is directed towards my ear. Someone would have to be really close to be able to hear it. Sound quality for phone calls is really good too. I like the fact I can hear what's around me as well.
