Q: Can you use these on laminate hardwood flooring?

A: Laminate and hardwood flooring aren't the same they are two very different types of flooring. Laminate flooring is probably what you mean in this matter. Not trying to nitpick but, There is a big difference between the two types Wood Floors vs Laminate Floors Laminate is more of a manufactured blend that mimics some of the properties of wood flooring , and is designed to look lvery similar to wood. Laminates are a lower priced alternative manufactured to look like wood with a few features such as: pretreated to prevent fading or damage from UV rays Hardcwood flooring is your natural wood, bamboo etc. wood flooring vs laminate flooring are very different but both work well with Swifters Wood flooring is the real deal, Laminates are usually a lower priced option with some benefits (I.e. - UV protection, and is often scratch and dent resistant) Good luck with your new Floors

A: We wish our refills could be used without creating solid waste, but that is not yet possible, Sara. Swiffer Sweeper cloths are not biodegradable or washable and should be disposed of in your household waste.

It's flimsy, and the pads don't always stay attached. It doesn't really "trap dirt" as advertised, and it leaves streaks when using the wet pads. Overall this product is a waste, and you'd be better off just using a real mop. The two stars I'm willing to give are because it's lightweight and inexpensive.

I like how it picks up all the small items that accumulate on the floor that somehow the broom doesn't pick up. I used the wet pad that came with it ,though the floor feels sticky when wet,but when the floor dries up it feels very clean. I read people's reviews on the smell of the wet pads so I didn't order extras because I'm sensitive to the smell of those chemicals of floor cleaner and try to use more of the "natural" cleaners but this one that came with the swiffer stick wasn't bad at all.

This works quite well for both dry and wet cleaning, especially since I have to clean up after an old cat on a daily basis. I still use a regular mop for more deep cleaning, but this works great for quick clean ups. My only issue is the holes that hold the pad in place have stopped working. they no longer clench the mop pads. So everytime I mop I have to try to reposition the pads.

It's NOT a wet jet or whatever. I made the mistake in thinking this. It's really JUST a regular swiffer that you can put a dry OR a wet cloth on it.
