Targus Numeric Keypad

Worked for 13 months, then all but the 1, 2, and 3 keys have stopped working. W11-based PC.

This is a game changer. Now I can stay efficient while working simply by plugging this into the usb port and using the pad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mess with data and numbers all day for my job. I son’t travel often, but when I do, it is super difficult to work on the laptop alone. This gives me a small and easy to pack numeric keypad to add to my laptop travel bag. It makes working with numbers a lot easier and faster. Lightweight and easy to pack, the cord isn’t too long and the button presses are smooth and relatively quiet. If you need a numeric keypad for any reason, this one works really well and ai highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my wife a gaming keyboard last year that she loved, but the problem is it didn’t have a numeric keypad on it. She has to deal with numbers a lot while working, so this numeric keypad was a great addition so she could use her keyboard again. It is extremely easy to hook up since it has a long USB cord. She says the numeric keypad has smooth strokes and is not loud at all. Her hand fits very comfortably on it which is a plus because she just had carpel tunnel surgery. She said the keypad is the same size as a numeric keypad on a full sized keyboard.

The perks are if you work on a laptop or use a shortened keyboard without the num pad this is a must. I do like the traction and feedback, although one of the most important things if you use a mouse, keyboard, computer peripherals is ergonomics, this is what it lacks. The height requires a padded rest or make shift one, I built my own wooden rest pad and filed the edges for a smooth surface but I would like to see them implement either a flatter surface or an add on wrist rest.

While it’s a nice accessory to have, I would say it’s more useful when inputting a large amount of numbers instead of for every day use. It is a bit bulkier than I would like but numbers are easy to see and buttons easy to push.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my son t use with his Apple computer for his math class, but it has a USB plugin so it did not work. He tried it on a chrome book and it worked fine. I would recommend this product as long as your computer has a USB plug in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love using the numeric keypad over my laptop numeric keypad. It is perfect if you do a lot of data entry. Great for left handlers! The tab and back button are positioned on top of numbers which makes it easier. Good product Targus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Laptops are great, but they lack keypads. This pad is a wonderful addition to my home office. The buttons are generously sized. It functions as it should. I don't know why I waited so long to get one. I'm very happy with this keypad.
