Task Lamp Blue - Threshold™ designed with Studio McGee

I got this lamp for my son’s new desk. It is considerably larger than most task lamps but very sturdy despite how top-heavy it looks; it won’t topple over and seems to have a durable construction. It’s height and the angle of the bulb are adjustable but is no dimmer option as mentioned previously. Price should probably be a bit lower for what you get, so I deducted a star. Aside from its design, nothing really sets it apart from more basic task lamps in lower price ranges which may even include dimmers. Overall, the look is neat and modern and coordinates with many other items from the teen collection such as the plaid fabric bulletin board, which we also purchased for his workspace.

Too big for my sons desk and I was bummed it didn’t have a dimmer option.
