I bought this in a hurry to replace my All Matters cup without reading the reviews. Like the other reviews complaining about the stem, it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to keep hold of the flimsy stem to remove it. I nearly cried trying to take it out. Please save your money and buy a Saalt or All Matters cup.

Had to go to the ER to have it removed, and looking through these reviews, I see I’m not the only one. There is nothing to grab onto to remove it. It really needs a ring and not a tiny short stem. It was very painful to have it removed in the ER. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

I bought this cup at Walmart and have been sooooo disappointed!!!! It’s super uncomfortable to wear and leaks everywhere!!! I know it’s not user error either because I bought this to replace my saalt cup and know I’m going back to buy it again today because I hate this menstrual cup :(

Finally decided to try. Well I should have done my research prior because I could not get it out. And I guess that’s a thing with this cup. Don’t recommend due to the shape of the tip as you can’t really grab ahold of it.

It made me itchy everytime I use it. It keeps leaking. Mind you that I have used this from different brands before and this has not happened to me before

Okay, so this was my first ever cup. I've had a kid, and I have a few days of super heavy periods, with the rest being light or spotting. I have a retroverted uterus, so I was worried about a cup not working out right. I don't like pads. I'm tired of blowing through $20 of tampons a month. So I got this. I just folded a side in, so it looked like a flower bud (I guess), and it was easy to slide in. However, it pops open too soon (in my opinion), so positioning it was problematic. My other issue was the stem. There's zero grip on it, so when you're trying to remove it, it's extra difficult to break the suction (and keep it broken) while pulling. On top of that, the stem is just a cut piece of silicone, so the edge kept poking when I sat (and I couldn't put it in further, and if I cut the stem I'd have even more trouble removing it). My suggestion to the designer is to either make it a loop, or put a small ball on the end. Honestly, requiring two fingers to pull and one to break...or both hands to remove, is just too much. I ended up with another brand that's more of a bowl with loops, and I can fairly easily remove it with one hand. Different shapes work for different people (same with different rigidity to the rim), but a straight stem with no grip isn't helping anyone, in my opinion. I did not have any leaking.

I followed the directions on folding it and still couldn’t fit it inside. By trying to fold it and fit it inside, I ended up giving myself a UTI. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone unless you already know how to insert a diva cup, but it’s very difficult to learn how to do.

First time using one, had it in for 9 hours, spent 2 of those hours attempting to remove it. Sitting in a bed at an urgent care clinic at 930 pm to get it removed.

While the cup is a good alternative to other menstrual products I can't say it's the one for me. As a bigger girl with a tummy and back issues I found it difficult to insert the cup comfortably. It's not a bad product by any means but I'll have to stick to the other alternatives.

So I have been researching the best possible product for my period. I hate how tampons feel so wasteful and it made me nervous what I heard some of these brands are putting in our tampons. Pads have always been gross I just felt gross sitting in blood all day. And today I finally got the courage to try a menstrual cup. I was terrified, but thought you know I'm saving money it's less wasteful then the other options it can't hurt to try. It took me an hour to finally get it in correctly. And then to take it out the first time it took some time as well but now I think I've got the hang of it and I love it. I can't tell it's in, I have been wearing a panty liner with it but have not had a leak problem yet. My advice is if you're willing give it a try it's totally worth it. I'm excited to see once I get the hang of it how much easier it will be. And I love the idea of being able to go to sleep and not worry about toxic shock from a tampon.

I got one of these finally to try for a backpacking trip. PROS: Little to no leakage, convenient, saves a ton on tampons, environmentally friendly, no worries of chemicals, no poopy string, etc. CONS: First time inserting resulted in massive cramps for several very painful hours of keeping me awake half the night, but then finally calmed down. Extraction takes some practice; Either you pop it out and it spills blood everywhere (ruined my socks backpacking), if you have long nails you accidentally pinch your own vaginal skin (EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE) trying to grip the teeny, tiny little stem and/or repeatedly jam your fingers in as far as they can possibly go in all manner of positions until about 5 nerve-wracking minutes later you finally finagle the thing out. Overall, I really like the convenience and the general experience of a menstrual cup. I don't know if I will necessarily buy THIS cup again, due to the extremely difficult process of getting it out. After using many times, I still struggle and really wish the stem had some kind of better shape or grip to it--I get anxiety worrying one of these times it'll get stuck for good. Just not a good design in that aspect.
