Q: Do these work well for women with a low cervix?
A: There's a great chance the discs could work for you! We worked hard to be as inclusive as possible––they were designed to fit 95% of anatomies. :)
submitted byThe Flex Company - 1 year agoBrand expertA: It's always worth a try. No single disc or cup will fit every single woman. It worked for a stage one prolapsed uterus, it just reduced capacity due to the cervix resting in the disc more.

Q: Are these reusable or one time use only?
A: These are for one time use only, you throw them away afterwards!
submitted byhannalizzy - 6 years agoA: One time use, they're discarded afterwards. They can be work up to 12 hours though.
submitted byStephBlu - 5 years agoA: Flex Discs are disposable, not reusable. After 12 hours of wear, you remove the disc, dispose of it, then insert a new one.
submitted byThe Flex Company - 5 years agoBrand expertA: You're SUPPOSED to throw them away every time but I'll usually rinse one and use it again. I haven't used one more than twice, though.

Q: Can you have intercourse while wearing these and is your partner able to feel it?
A: Yes, you absolutely can have intercourse while wearing the Flex Discs. If the disc is inserted properly, neither you nor your partner should be able to feel it. submitted byThe Flex Company - 1 year agoBrand expertA: My boyfriend said he could feel it a little bit, but it didn’t bother him. I had a really difficult time getting it out after.

Q: Hi, What is different between FLEX menstrual discs and Cervical Cap?
A: The main difference is the purpose of the products. FLEX Disc is a menstrual product made to catch period blood. FLEX Disc is not a contraceptive device and does not protect against STI's or pregnancy. Please only use FLEX Disc as directed! A Cervical Cap is a contraceptive device.

Q: What if I forget I have it in and leave it in a few days?
A: Hi TP, thanks for your question. We totally understand that accidents happen. Our products are made of an inert material that should not cause or contribute to any infections, however, we do strongly advise against wearing them for longer than 12 hours. If you've worn it for longer than 12hrs and are concerned, then we recommend scheduling an appointment with your gynecologist. You know your body best, but if something feels off or you begin to experience any unusual symptoms (foul odor, abnormal discharge, discomfort, etc.) then it is best you consult with your doctor right away to rule out infection. In the future, you can also always set an alarm or reminder on your phone. Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Q: Hi! Do these empty themselves? I’m looking for some that doesn’t!!!
A: Hey there, thanks for your question! The Disc can self-empty on the toilet, but only if you want it to! When you're not in the bathroom, since you don't bear down like you would to pee/poo while doing daily activities, the vaginal/pelvic floor muscles used to empty the disc are not active. So the disc does not usually move out of place to empty unless you are intentionally bearing down. Text us at 800-931-0882 or email us at hello@flexfits.com with any other questions!

Q: What’s the difference between this and Soft Disc?
A: Hello, thanks for the great question! The Flex Company makes both Softdisc & Flex Disc, which are both menstrual discs. The key difference is that Flex Disc is made with newer ComfortSeal Technology™ & premium materials that warm up to your body heat––this forms with your natural shape better to create a leak-free seal. Flex Disc customers also have access to subscriptions with free shipping and live support. That said, both products are still great choices! It all depends on your unique lifestyle and needs.

Q: I took the test to see which flex I should get. My results STYAED I need medium. which one is medium?
A: Hey Karen! Thank you for your question and I'm sorry for the confusion! On our website the Light, Medium, and Heavy plans you see refer to the number of discs you receive, not the size of the discs. The Flex Disc is made to fit 95% of people. When in store you will want to buy depending on how many days your typical cycle will run. An example: If you have a 4 day cycle and you need to change the disc every 12 hours, you will most likely need 8 Flex Discs for your cycle. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our Flexperts at hello@flexfits.com. They would be happy to answer any and all questions you might have
