Always follow dosing instructions and use a dosing device for accurate detergent measurement. Prevent fabric softener from spilling into the detergent dispenser. Adjust load size according to the cycle: for HE machines, leave a hand gap for normal/cotton, fill 60% for synthetics, and 40% for delicates. Overloading hinders detergent dissolution and water circulation. New washing machines use less water, so consult the manual and adapt washing habits accordingly.
