Tide Free & Gentle HE Compatible Liquid Laundry Detergent Soap

Out of all the detergents, this one doesn't cause my daughters eczema to flare up. The scent could be a bit stronger but it's quite right.

I was hopeful this would work at keeping my clothes impecably clean (as my alternative is about twice the price) but after long term use on my white towels and linens, Tide free & gentle turned my clothes a hue of yellow, whereas my original brand keeps them white. Also, I doif not find Tide kept my clothes smelling clean.

Makes your clothes sticky out of the wash. I use less than the recommended amount of detergent, but it will still leave a sticky residue on all of your laundry and is a nightmare on bath towels. Took me months to figure out the it was the Tide free and clear until I came across a Reddit tbh thread of other people dealing with the same issue from this detergent.

I want to give this 3 stars because at least there is still a fragrance free option. But Tide changed this Free and Gentle detergent’s ingredients a while back when they changed the bottle’s look, causing me and my family to have allergic reactions when we used the new formulation. I switched us to the fragrance free Hygienic Clean detergent from Tide, and it seemed to be the same as the regular Free and Gentle detergent used to be, but worked even better. They recently discontinued the fragrance free Hygienic Clean (leaving only the scented one), so now my family and I will be trying to find a different detergent that cleans as well, but without the hives and all. If trying this specific detergent, be aware of possible allergic reactions from the ingredients, even though it’s fragrance free.

Order was not packed the way it usually is when I order liquid household supplies. they were lose in box. something leaked so the box was wet and falling apart. we had to wipe down all items. 2 detergents, 2 fabric softeners and 3 dish liquid. usually all items are in there own plastic bag with a zip tie.

This product is good for people who have easily irritable skin from harsher detergents. We made the switch to this after some minor skin issues with previous detergents and have since not had any new problems arise. The slight price increase is worth having a safer option for washing clothes!

I was looking for a baby friendly detergent for my newborn and after reading reviews, I found Tide Free & Gentle. It is free of dyes and perfumes, making it a great option for babies with sensitive skin. The only downside is that it's not very effective on tough stains. Overall, it's a good choice.

Have used this product for years. Cleans great. Love that it is unscented.

I like that this is unscented and have been suing it for years. This recent bottle I bought, though, has a strong scent that you can smell very clearly on my clothes.

Great at removing stains. A bit costly, but so is everything these days.

The Tide Free and Gentle liquid laundry detergent works great! I love how gentle it is and doesn't have all the extra things in it that I don't want! Works great for my sensitive skin!

Product is good but hate the tape that Target used to seal liquid products as the type of tape they use leaves lots of sticky glue residue on bottles..

I love this detergent with no added fragrance or dyes. Started using a similar product when my babies were little and switched to Tide Free when the other was not available. It’s a good product!

Tide Free and Gentle Liquid Laundry Detergent is by far the best laundry detergent that I have ever used. I have super sensitive skin and I use this detergent for everything. From clothes, to towels, to dog beds, all of them get washed in this detergent. The packaging makes it easy to measure and cost is appropriate for the amount of loads you can wash. The laundry always comes out clean and the scent is not overwhelming.

I used to love tide with bleach alternative, but since last year it just makes me itch so badly I had to change brands. I love the way it cleans, but they did something to the formula to cause an allergic reaction. Very upset with this formula change.
