A: Even if you use the Tide gentle type, be careful choosing what type of fabric softener and dryer sheets you use. Everything should be for sensitive skin. Check for potential allergens lurking in the ingredients list. For example, I am highly allergic to PEG (polyethylene glycol). I have to make sure products I eat or drink, make up, toothpaste, skin cleaners, soaps, over the counter meds ( like some eye drops or Benadryl!) are PEG -free.

A: Check at least three reliable sources for any information that you read. If any information is trying to scare you, ask yourself if the writer has a hidden agenda. As for cancer… every living being - people and animals - are born with cells that can become cancerous. Run a DNA test through Ancestry.com and find out if your genes have a higher likelihood to develop certain types of cancers. You can find more reliable cancer info if you reach out to the Cancer Society, and read medical journals like JAMA ( Journal of American Medical Association). Suggestion: do not live a “fear-based life.” - [ I am a US Federal Healthcare Advocate and Independent Lobbyist. I do ongoing healthcare and medical research.]

A: Bounce is a great fabric softener. And as a Tide user for over 50 years, I find it still makes a positive difference to use some sort of fabric softener… since Bounce came out, I like Bounce best vs a liquid additive. But it is personal choice.

There packaging is always on point. Sturdy and if I want to reuse/recycle I can. It came well sealed with tape over the top and bubbled wrapped no leakage problem at all. Just wish could have gotten a bigger bottle. However a little goes a long way.

With kids in my home it’s guaranteed that they are going to come home with some new mystery stain. When I used my old brand of detergent a lot of my daughter’s clothes ended up in the rag pile or she had to deal with stains on her favorite clothes. Not anymore, Tide keeps her clothes stain free and newer looking longer than ever! I also love how our clothes smell, fresh, clean and it lasts all day! Tide has 10 times the grease-fighting power compared to other leading brands. It’s engineered to be 4x cleaner and 2x fresher! It works with any fabric that can be machine washed and even works in cold water! If you have a little stain magnet in your family try giving Tide a try! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good detergent but the ingredients aren’t great. Lots of chemicals and artificial ingredients. It does tackle stains well and removes odor. I use this on my husband’s hockey uniform - it takes the odor away. It’s concentrated enough so little bit goes a long way.
