A: Hello Pamala. Tums Chewy Bites Assorted Berry Chewable Tablets are now being manufactured at different manufacturing locations in the US using multiple bottle types. There is a change in few inactive ingredients used, the appearance, and the shape of the tablets. However, there is no change in the strength or the level of relief the product provides. The old Tums Chewy Bites Assorted Berry Chewable Tablets contain isopropyl alcohol, n-butyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol and alcohol as solvent in the ink. On the other hand, the new formulation does not contain alcohol in the formulation. We recommend that you check the list of ingredients on the label prior to purchasing a product to make sure it's right for you.

They like candy but for heartburn. They start relieving acid indigestion pretty fast. The soft center, slightly crunchy shell is way better than chalky tablets. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried a lot of Tums over the years, but the Strawberries & Cream flavor might be one of the best-tasting ones yet. It’s sweet, creamy, and honestly doesn’t feel like medicine at all—it’s more like a soft candy chew with a light crunch on the outside. I love that it doesn’t have that chalky texture some antacids have. It kicks in fast when I’m dealing with heartburn, especially after a heavy meal. I also like knowing it has some calcium in it, so it feels like a little bonus even though I wouldn’t rely on it for long-term calcium. Only downside is that the outside looks a bit dull—there’s like a powdery white coating that makes it look less appetizing than the Lemon Strawberry flavor. But that’s just cosmetic, doesn’t affect the taste. Great to keep in your purse, car, or nightstand for when heartburn strikes. I’d definitely buy again!

They taste great and have been a total lifesaver for my heartburn. Ever since I became pregnant and even now postpartum I’ve been dealing with severe heartburn, and these really help. They get me through the night without waking up in pain or struggling to even drink water. I can only recommend them!

There are quite a few per package. Cons The chewable tablets are HUGE/ When you are not feeling well, it feels very heavy and almost chalky to be have to chew and swallow. It made me feel sicker trying to choke these down. Also the strawberries and cream is not a flavor anyone wants when they are not feeling well- It feels like you were trying to eat ice cream when you have a stomach ache. I would suggest they use more of the tropical flavors from the classic tums. Also making the tablets smaller would help so it doesn’t make you gag to chew them.
