    The night mode is pretty good, along with the infrared lighting (you can't see it in the dark like other cameras). I don't like that we cannot control the camera mobility/angle via the phone app or the monitor. Instant recording would be nice whether it'd be sound or motion alert, recording those alerts for a fee seconds or minutes.

    This monitor is garbage. Our previous Motorola monitor broke due to a few aggressive tosses from a toddler, we bought this one night before bedtime as a last minute solution. Ever since we bought it, we have had issues with “out of range” alerts, the only solution is to unplug the camera unit. It would already be a disappointing product for its poor image clarity, two way talk, and volume range, a 3 star at its best even if it did stay connected.

    Absolute trash!! The monitor takes forever to connect, the battery last 10 minutes after only 4 months so has to be used connected to power source. Pictures quality is trash. The two way talk feature doesn’t work. Completely inaudible. I use the app to watch on my phone which has higher resolution and zoom ability but if I knew I would always have to tie up my phone to watch the baby, I would have made a different purchase. And the system isn’t upgradable because you can’t buy the cameras separately so be sure you get as many cameras as you think you may need in the future because its a one shot deal. Would NOT recommend and would never buy again.

    At first it was having trouble connecting. Pros: -Can talk through monitor -Can use app (can record and take pictures/videos) or monitor (just to see and manage settings) -Night mode is clear Cons: -Major lags and misses several seconds causing blurry videos as well -Music is still loud at lowest settings After using for only 2.5 weeks: -I cannot watch video recordings -Next day video recordings were gone and still can’t watch new video recordings for the day. -Sounds are picked up from other rooms and sends notifications consistently if you’re doing dishes or whatever sound you make. -Motion is very sensitive even on low sensitivity (shadows/lights moving from window)

    Not worth it. It lags when you’re monitoring your baby, it shows that baby moved 5 seconds after she/he actually moved. Very inconvenient for when I’m alone with my baby. Also the play back feature never works, all you’ll see is a black screen! You are lucky if you get to see it once or twice. Waste of money!

    Sound broke after one year. Had this monitor less than a year. Had some trouble getting it to pair with cell phones and the app and all that’s but even after that was resolved the sound on the actual handheld monitor went out. So now we have to rely on our cell phones and WiFi.

    Within the first few weeks of use, the night vision stopped working. Got a replacement and this one constantly drops connection even on the no-WiFi setting. I also have never been able to get the phone app to connect which was a big reason I chose this one. For the Vtech brand, this was extremely disappointing that this system is so poorly made.

    Poor battery life, it doesn’t even last a whole night even when it started with a full charge to start. The lullabies are nice but you can’t adjust the volume of them and it can be loud. Also if you play the lullabies, the sound alarm constsntly goes off.

    We put this on our registry & we LOVE our choice. The monitor is clear, zoom is very helpful and easy to use all the functions. The camera itself is durable (my toddler likes to poke it,so it’s taken a few tumbles). We have the monitor on all night and have never had any issues in 18 months. *Note: I have never gotten the phone app monitor view to work on it. Only negative*

    Nice screen, worked when it did. After only 6 months the camera went pink now I can hardly see my son at night.
