Woolite Delicates laundry detergent is a gentle washing liquid, specially formulated to take care of your delicate garments in the wash.  It can be used for machine washing in the Clean & Care, or for hand washing delicate fabrics such as silk and wool. Woolite Delicates is a unique formula that won't cause shape loss or fiber damage to keep the clothes you love looking like new, for longer! It is also a hypoallergenic product that does not contain harsh ingredients like bleach, phosphates or enzymes and is therefore gentle on hands, skin and clothes.

I've used other Woolite products which were good (Darks Defense) and smelled mild and pleasant, no issues. I thought I would try this since it is supposedly hypoallergenic for my son. Well, the scent of this product is just unbearable. It smells exactly like "Windex", and SO strong. I hung the items I washed to dry and the scent was so overpowering that I had trouble with my breathing and coughing and had to use my inhaler. It was SO strong. I just can't believe that the company would scent the product like this. No laundry detergent has ever done this. It dissipated mostly after the items were dry but I will NEVER use this again.

HAS harsh INGREDIENT -Methylisothiazolinone

This DOES have harsh ingredients. It has Methylisothiazolinone. It is a strong skin sensitizer linked to widespread allergic contact dermatitis and potential neurotoxicity, leading to restrictions in some products.

I use this detergent for my wool blend winter sweaters. It's got a subtle scent, not too strong. I just wash and rinse in cold water, on the delicate cycle, and then I lay them flat to air dry. Highly recommended!

Contains Harsh Ingedients!

This stuff contains Benzisothiazolinone, which is known to give people rashes. It gave me an awful rash. Why do you bother putting "no harsh ingredients" on the label? What a waste of money.

Not sensitive skin friendly

This product claims to be gentle and hypoallergenic. But it contains fragrance and Methylisothiazolinone-the “top allergen of the year” This preservative is used because of the backlash to parabens and it has been causing havoc ever since. Why bother marketing your product as “no harsh ingredients” and then add two of the most irritating ingredients possible??
