LifeStraw Home Water Filter Pitcher 7 Cup + Silicone Base Glass

I should have read up before buying. I was shocked when it took over 10 minutes to filter one reservoir full of water which is only about 1.5 cups. To fill the 7 cup pitcher it will take me probably 35-40 minutes and I have to fill the reservoir 5-6 times.... so checking in on it every ten minutes and filling then waiting...and waiting.... all for just 7 cups of water?? Oh, and setting it up was a massive pain. The carbon filter cap is really hard to open and the filter itself sits on the pitcher but there are gaps where unfiltered water can get into the pitcher and contaminate your filtered water. Horrible waste of money. Just avoid it altogether.

I just recently disassembled my 7 cup picture to wash it after daily use of 4 months. The entire inside of the glass pitcher was coated in microplastics. This part of the pitcher is the drinkable water already filtered. I’m very concerned that this filtration is failing.

Water tastes great, love the container. I’m happy with the fact the container is glass, rather than plastic.

Definitely recommend !!! Getting rid of microplastics should be a priority, and this product does this

I've tried many different water filters (from Zero Water to Berkey and some other stuff) and I haven't found anything that great. I have well water, and would like the minerals but not the bad stuff. I've found that either everything is filtered out or there are weird tastes to my water. . . With the LifeStraw filter, it is the first time I LIKE my water!! And I LOVE the pitcher. . . I love the glass and that it is easy to use and keep clean and move around (unlike the big stainless containers) and the way it's made actually makes sense and works well (unlike all other filter pitchers). I also like that people who need clean water get to benefit from the purchases. Thank you so much for this product!! I am so glad I gave it a try! :)

Love that y’all make a glass water filter pitcher. The filter holds such a small amount of water so it takes a lot longer to fill then I would like, but otherwise Love it.

I like that this is made of glass, but it takes forever for water to drain.

There’s a lip drip, but protecting the family from pfas’s is comforting.

I love the 7 cup home glass filter. I chose it because of the glass pitcher and lifestraw filtering system. The water tastes great and the filter works well. I use it a lot everyday. I would highly recommend it for everyday use at home.

We purchased the Lifestraw product because it was glass and we wanted to get away from the plastic in our current water filter pitcher. So we were disappointed to discover the interior strainer was plastic. Also, it is hard to get in and out of the glass pitcher

We have delicious cold well water but filtering with this life straw filter makes the water smooth as silk- that’s the only way I can describe it. We’re happy with the purchase. Wish they made whole house filters! Please work on that, LifeStraw.

The LifeStraw Home 7-Cup Glass pitcher and filter seem to work very well. The water, once filtered, appears crystal clear, and when I boil it in a glass electric kettle, nothing adheres to the metal base (as it does with water from the faucet), suggesting that the microplastics in the tap water are being successfully filtered by the LifeStraw filter. That is a tremendous relief. The water tastes delicious, too. When I can afford a larger unit, I definitely plan to acquire one.

I bought this for my sister who has horrible well water. I have a pitcher of my own and was filling glass bottles for her multiple times a week. She did not want to try my pitcher. I decided to buy her this pitcher and she loves it, I’ll be buying her filters every two months but better than filling those jars. I also have your filtering water bottle which I love.

Makes our water taste delicious and be healthier for us!

Hello, Im extremely dissatisfied w the quality of the pitcher, when ordered i also purchased a filter for the future. . The pitcher is leaking at the bottom rounded seam!! Have to discard it after 5 months,😢An expensive over priced Cheap quality product. Has not been dropped bumped etc. . I am very disappointed. .

It is pretty and glass and the water taste amazing BUT it takes sooooo long for the water to filter. We drink and use a lot of water so unfortunately this is not for us. Will be replaced.

I love LifeStraw . However this pitcher is so slow . I was even questioning if the filter is faulty . Switched out my plastic because of crack. Seriously takes hours for a full pitcher . Never had this problem with the plastic one .

I wanted an easy way to filter my water and get me away from using water bottles. This glass pitcher is awesome at doing it all. Filters the water really well. Doesn’t leave any of the yuck lake water taste I was getting from my water. I love it!
