Not worth purchasing
I bought this pressure cooker in August and only got around to using it recently. Unfortunately I had an issue with the lid from the start and now after only a few uses, the lid is impossible to close. I've tried oiling the inside of the lid but this didn't help. Also being outside the return window I am now stuck with an unusable product.

Amazing as always
I’ve had presto pots that I inherited since the 70’s and still work amazing . I wanted to treat myself to a new one . This stainless steel model is beautiful , shipped quickly and was easy to put together following easy directions . I made short ribs as first meal . They were done quickly and fell off the bone . Once you go presto there is no going back !

First uses
So glad to have this smaller one. Lectins are killed by pressure with heat. So I can eat beans and vegetables with lectins (tomatoes, potatoes, squash, cucumbers). There is nothing that can stop working, and I have the extra lid to strain the liquids out.

Really great pressure cooker
We love the presto line of cookers. They are easy to cook in and my mom really likes the extra little handle

Useful and durable!
I bought this pressure cooker in 1996 and since then I been used it almost every day, even if you don't believe. I'm pretty sure that it is going to stand great even more time after I pass away. The only thing is the pressure regulator gone broken after 17 years of continuous use. I recommend this wonderful piece of ingenious.

Little is great
I have been using the Presto pressure cooker since 1998. At that time, I had the 6-quart size and it was great. Since then, I have lost my husband and for quite a while I have been searching for a smaller size. Recently I finally found the 4-quart cooker. Thank you for that. I have used the same directions as the 6-quart size and my stew was very good.
