Disappointed customer
I keep having jars not seal I've used it twice and lost jars both times love the canner but can't keep losing chicken I'm an experienced canner of many years and I'm not happy with this machine I followed the cheat sheet step to step

Can't hear the beeps
I love this canner. My only negative comment is it doesn't beep anymore or it is so soft that I can't hear it. the first time I used it, it was nice and loud. Is there a way to turn up the sound?

Black lines on jars
I love the easy use of this pressure canner. The only issues I have is that it leaves black marks on my jars that aren’t able to be washed off.

Enjoying my canners
Love the canners. I only gave four stars instead of five, because I have two. One has the pressure valve on the front, but the other is on the back of the lid which feels a bit unsafe , because you have to reach across steam to put the valve cap on.

The model you have with the regulator on the back of the cover was our original version. Although we felt confident this was a safe design, (as did Underwriters Laboratories) we did change the regulator location to the front as you see in current models. Gasket problem
I bought this a year ago and never used it.i made one batch and it worked fine and now making another batch it created an error that the gasket needs to be replaced. Tried calling into the company and there was no answer and it was about 10:00am. Not the best support.

Purchaed 9/30/2024 - display fail 8/30/25
Purchaed on 9/30/2024 and by 8/30/25 the display died and beeping noise started and would not stop - sent request for WARRANTY assistance - not heard back yet . Also, the interior has started to flake off. OVERALL - love this easy process especially as I was a first timer canner last year.

I was told it was easy peasy…and it is. Directions are clear. The Presto Canner takes you through like holding your hand.

Broke down after 1 year and 3 or 4 uses
Bought this canner approximately 1 year ago. Tried to pressure can today. Machine started the heat process and then quit. No power to the display. Yes there is power to the outlets.

Lousy lid
I received as a gift because I really wanted one. I have to stop process several times to clean gasket and lid which only has steam build up On them. I might get lucky after third round to have the peg come up. It’s not been fun canning and I will have 50 pts of beans in a week

Short life
I have owned mine for over a year but went to use it for the third time and I’m getting and error message. When I looked up the error code it had to do with the heating plate. For the amount of money I paid I would expect to get more than 3 uses out of this.

Continued lid seal failure
I gave 1 star out of frustration. I purchased this Dec 2024 and canned chicken, green beans and carrots- all jars failed to seal and I don’t know why. While I’m new at canning - all steps were followed and no error messages were received. I like the ease of the electric canning process.

NEW CANNER
Our canner arrived very quickly! It's much easier to use than a conventional canner and the laminated instruction sheet that came with it is well written and easy to follow. We broke it in by canning some sweet potatoes in quarts and it performed flawlessly,,,so far, very pleased!

Waste of Money
This canner has been on the shelf more than being used. First lid was bad and they sent me a new lid. It worked a couple of times after that now the seal won’t stay put so it never comes to full pressure. Now it’s blowing breakers. I have wasted so much time and food with this thing. I would not recommend it AT ALL.

Fool Proof!
I have owned this product since 2021 and I love it! I am an experienced canner and I own a Presto 16 Quart Pressure Canner as well as an All American 930 Pressure Canner, but this one has become my absolute "go to" for quick smaller canning jobs. It is quiet, efficient and fool-proof. The canner itself gives step-by step instructions for use. I was so impressed with this canner that I bought another one for my daughter. Perfect for beginners and people just starting canning.

not working well. one Month later = broken
I bought my canner just over a month ago. it has had problems from the start. the seal it came with doesnt seem to seal properly and it drips. I Pulled out all my items and had my 4 lbs of ground beef and 4 lbs of ham ready to go, had my water boiling on the stove, and my broth for My ham.. my jars are washed And ready to cycle... I move my canner onto My countertop to start warming jars and adding food.... and my stupid new canner just beeps at Me, the screen is blank/no lights, and it wont reset. it seems to be not working at all. I am very frusterated with this. I have used it maybe 3 or 4 times, and purchased it on the recomendation of the Rose Red Homestead show. It Has turned out to be very frusterating and I worry It is dangerous. Now, it wont turn on at all. What a waste of money.
