What a great mixer! I replaced a 40+ year old Sunbeam that finally died. This mixer is so easy to use and works perfectly. I don't even have to scrape the bowl! Amazing!

Beautiful and solid
This a high quality machine that I expect to last a long time. It is easy to use and looks beautiful. My only complaint is that I need to do a little mix and scrape the side and bottom before I start the actual mixing because stuff gets stuck on there, but that's normal I think for any mixer probably. I'm very happy with it and recommend it for sure if you want to spend the money.

Bad Quality
I got my mixer just over a year ago and have consistently had problems. There is not enough motor power to mix doughs for bread or cookies. The head lock lets go and causes the head to kick up while mixing even after height adjustment. Recently it has started to grind the gears and smell like burning. I love the look and colors of KitchenAid mixers but I'm disappointed in its quality.

Not your mother’s mixer
I recently purchased this beautiful juniper artisan KitchenAid mixer. It came with a flour guard, and a dough hook: a regular paddle and a whipping wire attachment. I’ve used it twice in the last month and so far so good keep up the good work KitchenAid. It is a beautiful metalic

Very Happy with Artisan Mixer
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought the Artisan Mixer to replace the Classic Mixer which we used a lot for over 20 years. The Artisan was on sale at the time and it has a bigger bowl. It is working great - have made pizza dough, muffins, cakes etc., and works great. All the attachments that we had for the Classic (Pasta Attachment, Meat Grinder) also work on the Artisan Mixer.

Horrible screaming noise
I've already returned it. I was so excited for this mixer until I turned it on and it started screaming at me. After a little Investigation I discovered this is a pretty common issue. I returned it and maybe will try again another time

Best mixer
We replaced our still running 24 year old KitchenAid with this beauty. It is more powerful and has a larger mixing bowl than our previous mixer. We gave our old machine to our young neighbor who had been using a hand mixer for preparing breads. She was delighted. KitchenAid stand mixers as simply the best mixers out there.
