Beautiful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product pictures don't do this rug justice! I have had it less than a week and have had so many complements. It is navy blue and not black, but I knew that going in from the other reviews. Exactly what I wanted.My only issue was shipping. There was a tear in the plastic and the backing og the rug got torn pretty bad. It didn't show all the way through thankfully, but it was pretty deep so I was worried.

Gorgeous!

This rug is so pretty and really ties our space together. I think I bought the 6x9 size. I will say the black color is more dark navy but I knew that buying it so I didn’t mind.

Super bummed about the color

This is getting a 3 star from me because in hindsight, there were things I could have looked into that would have made me realize this rug was not for me. First, once you scroll through some of the pictures, you can see the blue hue. Also, I didn't read a single review and there are plenty that note color issues. So, part of this is on me, for sure. At the same time, I don't know why this is even called black. It's not black, so why call it that? It's clearly blue. That's a bit annoying. And it's not a matter of how pictures look on different screens, it's a matter of having the word black listed at all. Other people do not that they can't tell it's anything other than black in their homes but again, that doesn't mean it's black. It's a very dark blue that looks black in some lighting. Those are two different things. Anyway, bit frustrated because I do need a true black rug so hopefully the return process is easy. I've shopped from here before and was happy, so I'll still consider this website in the future. But I will be more careful researching any future orders.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First rug I've ever purchased new or online, and it's just as expected. Zero smell, and it's heavy enough that all the corners laid flat immediately after opening it. I also vacuumed it right away, and didn't notice any shedding. Other commenters noted that it looks blue rather than black, but it only looks slightly navy to me if my face is right next to it on the floor. From standing height it's black. Either way, it looks and feels great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, the black is a little more grey-blue than black. Second, there is more "black" space than not (which is fine by me) than what the picture makes me anticipate. Third, yes it sheds. You will need to vacuum frequently at the beginning. Fourth, yes, the rug does snag fairly easily, even with the vacuum agitator at the highest setting. I think this is due to my dog, and not the vacuum. Is this rug pet friendly? No, not really. I wouldn't call it sturdy, but it is nicely thick and dampens sound well. The soft back means that it lies flat much better and faster than a rug with the hard backing, but you will need a rug pad to keep it in place. Overall, worth the price and would buy again, even with a big dog who is heck bent on tearing it up, lol

Kinda feeling a little catfished

Rug is nice and thick and beautiful, it has that going for it. I’ve been looking for a rug since April and this one fit the bill. A black rug with a botanical pattern without looking like spring break in Florida and looking like a cozy moody vibe. It looked perfect so I decided to spring for it. I was a little disappointed to receive this rug just to see that it looks much more dark NAVY BLUE than black and there’s already many threads shedding out of the rug. I’m upset with color and quality for the price paid. Colors should be represented accurately when you’re selling a home design product online. You can see in my photo below my sock is a standard black, the rug looks very navy. Once again, beautiful design pattern but otherwise I’m pretty let down. If you’re looking for a BLACK base color rug, this probably isn’t the one for you.
