Faulty Magnetron
Had been very happy with this new microwave for over a year, many good features. Today while warming coffee the machine started making an odd grinding noise and flashing lights also smelled an electrical burn. thankfully I was standing nearby and stopped the unit. The smoke continued and I head a noise that turned out to be a fire inside the unit. I don't think expecting my microwave to last 2 years without catching the house on fire is an unrealistic expectation. Of my LG products

Be aware that using the microwave to steam will lead to the stainless steel interior rusting. LG considers this a maintenance issue. So climb on a step ladder, remove the turntable and dry the entire inside every time you use it

I love the LG studio microwave!!
I bought this microwave in an LG Studio bundle and absolutely love all the features. Last night I steamed artichokes! The cheerful ditty as oppose to a buzz when the timer goes off makes me happy! I now have all white with rose gold handles that classes up my kitchen significantly.

Great features and size!
Purchased this oven about a month ago. At first just used as microwave because I had never used a convection oven. I have since used it for baking different things, Blueberry Cream cheese muffins, pumpkin bread and chicken breasts. Everything came out perfect.. next I I’ll use the Air fry feature. Using this oven helps reduce the heat in my kitchen when cooking.

Very nice appliance but not Perfect
Have had this microwave for about 3 months now and would have given it 5 stars except for a couple of issues. 1) Wish that the menu printed on the right side of the frame (behind the door) were in WHITE or some very contrasting color to the black of the box. Very difficult to see & read. 2) You can't select the Air Fryer temperature and time. You must select a preprogramed option from installed options. NOT VERY PRACTICAL or CONVENIENT ! ! !

The Unit Stopped Working in 5 days after purchase
Just bought this and had it installed on August 13th 2024 and it is now August 18th 2024. The unit does not work. The Air Fryer is a joke. It only has about 9 pre sets where you have to "air fry" specific foods at specific temperatures and times that the unit decides. We attempted to air fry some French Fries and they were barely edible. To make matters worse, as of last night, the microwave portion of the unit only works sometimes. For example, over the last roughly 24 hour period the unit only heated something up 3 times. Most of the time, the light just comes on and the timer counts down as it pretends to work but nothing in the unit ever gets hot. So, now I just have a VERY EXPENSIVE digital clock over my stove. It is a very expensive unit and should NOT be falling apart less than one week after installation.

Good microwave, works as expected.
Cooks well. Love the sleek look. My only complaint is that if the door is not opened, the controls (including the light on/switch) is not visible therefore nothing can be seen when you're trying to decide what setting to use until the door is actually opened.

Above and Beyond Expeentations!!
We have the LG Oled TV, so we thought we would give this a try after another name brand that we had for 6 years decided not to work anymore. From the first use, which was to pop popcorn we knew something was different. It actually pooped every kernel, something our other name brand did not do. Since then, everything we have either heated up or cooked has come out great. It's like having our own personal chef! Using the LG app is a breeze, it's lets me know when my food is done heating up and scanning meat to thaw is a piece of cake! Thank you LG for another great product!!
