A good product. I like to take a variety of magnesiums as they help different things. I’ve been taking this for years. The tablets are too large to swallow, so I chew them. There is no taste. Highly recommend.

I find magnesium taurate to be one of the few forms of magnesium supplement that seems not to bother my digestive system at all. I wanted to like the Swanson version, since it's slightly cheaper than the other brand, even if there are no sales, and swanson brand is on sale more often. However, the shape and texture of the tablets make them challenging to swallow. They are quite large and the surface is not slippery at all. If you don't manage to swallow it on a first attempt, the already inadequate coating completely disappears and makes a second attempt on the same tablet almost impossible. Go for the "cardiovascular research" brand magnesium taurate. It's worth it.

Helped my A1C levels dramatically
I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes at the beginning of Feb. My A1C was 11.7%. I researched a ton on Magnesium and Diabetes 2 being linked so I started taking these about a month and half ago. As of yesterday my A1C dropped to 8%! My Doc was Shocked because even Metformin can only drop you about 1.5% in a 3 month period if you're lucky. That is because Drs only treat symptoms not Cause. If this keeps up I may be at normal levels in 3 months at my next test. Added benefit was my chronic inflammation back pain went away within 3 hours of my first dose and has not returned. I have been dealing with that for 33 years!

Love this product! It does the job -- makes me much calmer and eliminates the slight heartbeat irregularity I get when I don't take magnesium taurate, plus it's affordable, which is really important. I used to take Cardiovascular Research brand but they started adding l-leucine, which is potentially unsafe, so I went looking for an alternate source and was thrilled to find this one, which actually costs less per dose. The pills are biggish but not too big; I'm can easily swallow two of them along with a few other supplements all at once with a glass of water. So glad I found this product!

Wonderful product
Reading the other reviews which complain about the size and texture -- okay, I get it, but there are other ways around it if you have trouble swallowing it. Suggestions: eat a small piece of banana with it and it will glide right down or put it in with your smoothie if you have a capable blender.

Take before bed time. It makes me tired and relaxed. The pills are large and hard to swallow. They are expensive but I buy them because they seem to work. I take them for cardiac health. They seem to help some.

We take these for added magnesium, I think they help, hard to tell for sure. I like that these are easy on the stomach, and also have heart benefits. The pill is pretty big and chalky but if you're used to taking supplements its not a big deal.
