[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Crane USA Evaporative Cool Mist Humidifier is so easy to assemble and the directions are very clear. It took me less than a minute to get it set up. The humidifier is quiet and has a discrete humming sound. It’s easy to refill and because it’s small, we have to refill it every 2 days. We have it set to the highest setting, so it would use less if you chose a lower setting. My kids have been complaining about being so stuffy this past year, so this has been such a great way to help counteract our dry/stuffy noses. The size is great for a small room. It does say not to place it on wood, so just be aware of that. I love this cool mist humidifier so much, I’m not sure how I survived without one.

It’s easy to clean, and you can even put the base in your dishwasher for even easier cleaning. It has three settings, and is still very quiet even on the highest settings. Great size and capacity for a bedroom. It is easy to use and fill/refill too.

I also like how easy it is to clean the water reservoir. My only complaint is that I’m not too sure how you would clean the filter. It’s an interesting material - almost like a tough paper or some sort of fiber. I just leave it out to dry out during the day when I’m not using the humidifier.

I've now tested it for a few weeks and feel that it does the job well. It is easy to clean and maintain since there are only a few parts. It's quite very easy to assemble.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this humidifier a few weeks ago and came at the right time as we were sliding into cold weather. My son gets a lot of nosebleeds in the winter time and running a humidifier is crucial. This machine has a small footprint but was easy to set up. Doesn’t appear to have a lot of maintenance associated with it . Just make sure to empty it in the morning and clean the filter once a week. The machine is on the smaller side and holds a smaller amount of water than I would have liked. The machine seems durable but it is very light weight and I feel it could be knocked over easily, so keep that in mind when placing it in your room. The machine is not the quietest and does provide white noise sounds. If I run this on low, I can get 6+ hours of run time before the water is gone. It will run for up to 90 minutes empty and then shut itself off, which is a safety feature I like.

Color: top is bright white, base is a soft translucent blue Cord length is 47” long. Comes with a 1 ¾” long rectangle shape, white, wall adapter. The plug is a Type A two parallel pins plug – the kind used in the US that operates on a 120V supply voltage. This is not a plug that can be used in Europe without an adapter. Sound: Super quiet! This humidifier creates a perfectly calming background noise and is quieter than my 5 ½” personal fan that I use for white noise when sleeping. Materials included: easy to wash clean filter and power cord with plug. Where to use: Instructions say to place on a solid, waterproof, elevated surface. Why? To keep humidity away from the wall and wooden furniture as a way to protect the areas from getting damaged. I put a 12” x 16” tray under the humidifier which works well to protect the area. Liquid Amount Held: The instructions say the container holds 2.5 liters. 2.5 liters equals 10.4 cups. I put 10 cups in the tank and took a picture. Then I added one more cup and the water line is just below the tank’s venting holes. So, in my experience, the container can hold up to 11 cups of water. This humidifier is very simple to use! There are three levels of output speed / fan sound. On the top of the fan there is a green dot light to indicate level 1 (slow) level 2 (medium) and level 3 (high). The light and power switch are the only functions on the top. I have used daily for a week. Water lasts for an impressive 15 hours. Consistent humidity output, noise level does not change, and the walls / area are not dripping. I have kept it in a 12’ x 16’ room with the door open. This humidifier does not have: a temperature read-out panel, any LED display panel, a nightlight, nor an aroma diffuser. This humidifier: is definitely a cool mist, doesn’t get hot after hours of use, is dishwasher safe (tank only), has a germicidal UV light on the top that is barely noticeable, can run on a full tank for about 15 hours. Uses about 3/4 cup of water per hour while running on high speed.

The power cord was long enough to reach from our bedside table to the floor outlet. I love how it has different speeds to use and they work well. It's lightweight and easy to move around. I love how it's dishwasher safe to clean extra well but also easy to clean with water and vinegar mixture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup is easy, pour water in, plug into power source, push button and go. 0.5 gallon is fairly generous for a humidifier. The size of the device can fit on most nightstands or fire place mantle, which coming up on winter weather will be useful considering the heat that would be put out drying the air. The cooling evaporative mist is similar to a swamp cooler where moisture is circulated with moving air. Where this device takes it up a few notches is the germicidal uv light and physical filter that insures cleaner water particles are circulated into the air. What's even more impressive, besides shipping with an actual power adapter for the USB-C power cord, is that the energy draw is so low that the device can actually run on most portable power banks as demonstrated in the video, making this device truly portable and usable in almost any location. My only one downside is the replacement of the physical filter since it will need to replaced after a few months of use so that would be a periodic maintenance fee, but at least unlike most humidifiers and essential oil dispensers, this humidifier doesn't need to run on distilled water to stay as clean. Plus the bottom housing that would need to be cleaned is dishwasher safe so that's always a plus. The noise isn't particularly loud even on the highest setting and could easily pass for white noise. It's basically a USB powered PC fan.
