A: More than frequency of use, how long a compact will last depends on the size of the area you're covering, and whether you're using it for scalp coverage, color touchup, or both. We have customers who cover large areas of thinning and/or root regrowth that use up a compact within a few months, and we have customers who use it only for smaller areas that have to discard the remainder of the compact after 12 months of being open as recommended for product quality. The only way to know for sure is to give it a try, as everyone's experience is unique!

A: While the product is wind, weather and sweat resistant, ultimately it is still non-permanent - which means that, while it won't stain (it'll come off easily with soap and water as intended), it can transfer. In addition to proper setting techniques, we recommend minimizing touch and friction as much as possible to avoid this. I hope this helps!
