I purchased medium ash brown, as my natural hair color is ash brown. Since when does ash brown have orange?? My grays are all orange, and my hair tone overall is warm and orange rather than the cool tones promised. Very disappointed- run from this product!

I purchased it and then read reviews and was skeptical but it exceeded my expectations. It wasn’t too thick, I feel like if it was runnier it would get all over the place and people would complain about that. It did have a slight green appearance as it was processing, but it turned out great. It’s been over 3 months since I’ve colored, and had A LOT of grays.. but the color did what I intended, and I got the exact color I wanted, darkest brown = brown black. Overall super pleased with this product. I would definitely recommend!

You changed the formula COMPLETELY! It went from a FANTASTIC color and no damage, at all! I frequently felt my hair was looked more healthy and shiny AFTER my color than before. Years of great coverage and nice compliments —- to a brassy, cheap, ugly color that FRIED MY HAIR!!! I’ve been using this color, without a problem, for over 7 YEARS— I’ll never use it again. Nightmare!!!!

Please, never used to this product to color your hair. After you wash your hairs you gonna get bald. After I washed my hairs hundreds of hairs are fulling down on the showers. I was very regretted to try. So now I know. So sad that the chemical they’ve used is not helping to satisfy. I would not recommend this product for good.

Have used this for years and loved, but very unhappy with thicker formula, does not mix as well and as easily. Also find myself concerned at having to squeeze the bottle so hard that it’s going to come out quickly and possibly go into my eyes. Considering changing brands due to the formulation change, after just two applications 😔

If you want orange hair this is the color for you. I should have known it wasn't going to come out right when I saw the color it turned in the bottle once everything got mixed together. After the orange washed off my scalp my hair turned red. Like Ariel from Little Mermaid, red. Super disappointed with this color.

When this color was black cherry I loved it. It turned out a nice purple color that I was in love with. The formula was obviously changed because my hair has zero purple hue. It is red!! If I wanted red I would've purchased red! Very disappointed. It is no where near the color results on the box.

I bought two hair dye from the Roosevelt boulevard location since I was close by. One of the box did not had the oil in the green little pouch(it was empty) I find it a little weird for the company to box it without noticing which I had to take it out from the other box dye I had. It’s not really a big problem to me. If I’m paying for it , I should have everything. It states it comes with. Another thing I would like to add is. I obviously minded my business at self checkout and I find that the two ladies who are in charged of self checkout was super rude to the family in front of me who had a baby and a little girl who was no where near the machine and the mother needed help with the register.

I was excited to see this color, #42, on me as i expected a dark burgundy because my hair is dark brown. Very disappointed to end up with something that looks like burnt sienna. Nothing like what i expected. I will now have to go to a salon to have this fixed. I will never use these products again.

This is the worst color I’ve ever put in my head. I let Pinterest persuade me and I just bought it without looking at reviews. It dripped on my skin and it was green. I was like “that’s weird!” Now 2 washes later my hair has green hues. Iam disgusted. So ugly! Do not buy this!

I am so thankful I found a box of the old formula in my bathroom closet so I was able to use that for an event. I have purchased the new formula a few times and it just doesn't last or cover well. I was thrilled to see the way this product used to look when I discovered I was able to use the old formula. The color before was so much richer, it covered gray and more importantly it is lasting. I am going to have to try to find a new product that does what this one used to before you changed it. The new product doesn't even darken well with the first application much less stick around. I realize you are telling people to mix it more... tried that. It still doesn't compare to the old formula at all. I wish I had known and could have stocked up on the older kind. It really was my perfect color. Very sad it is gone now.

I’m using this shade that has Drew on the cover because some reviews say that the formula changed and the shade is a bit different. The instructions recommend 30 minutes for gray. I used a tint brush to apply over the bottle provided because I think the application is overall more even. It looks like I missed spots (possible) because the gray is not completely covered. My front gray is most resistant and there is a stubborn portion that it did not cover. I also did not put the oils packet in. I would not put that in for a retouch because I think it may afaaect the processing. Next application I am going to use a separate box to run through the length and ends. I WILL use the oil for that application. My natural inclination would be to leave it on longer, but I have to color every two weeks, so it will be pretty damaging to my hair so I’m not going to be doing that. Overall I like this dye. I think it’s a good option for non-pros that want to color their hair at home.

Totally disappointed :( I bough this hair dye 4 times, thinking it was gonna cover my gray hair like it says in the box ( 100% gray coverage) (FALSE) I dye my hair 12 days ago still seen gray hairs I went to buy another box today thinking I’ll give it another try cause I like the color follow the instructions even leaving in for 5 more min .. and finish washing my hair and guess what ? Still not cover my gray hair. That’s the only reason I’m writing this review because I didn’t give it 1,2,3 chances I give it 4 chances . Please remove the note in the box when is not gonna cover 100% the gray hair.
