Description

The Sealy Soybean Serenity crib mattress features the firmness and simplicity of a soy-enhanced foam core with a luxurious organic cotton cover. Providing a more natural surface closest to baby, this mattress features a durable, woven organic cotton cover that is soft and breathable. Enhanced with Crypton Clean Sleep to help keep the mattress protected from leaky diapers and soiling. This easy-clean surface is made possible without the use of plastic coatings like PVC or food-grade polyethylene, and allows stains and liquids to be wiped away with ease. The mattress; strong, high-density foam core is enhanced with soybeans to create the extra-firm and durable sleeping environment infants need. The tear-resistant waterproof lock-stitching ensures leaks never make into the mattress, while the airflow pocket keeps the mattress fresh without the use of small metal vents.

Good choice

Mattress shopping for my first born was overwhelming. So many brands will fear monger you into buying an overly priced mattress by marketing it as having the ability to prevent SIDS. This mattress kept it simple and was an easy choice. Affordable and firm enough for my child. I like how it’s made with safe materials and is certified. It’s easy to lift to change the sheets and my baby sleeps well on it. That’s all I can ask for. I would definitely recommend this mattress.

Unfortunate

Will return. I bought this because it had only good reviews. Mattress came a little beat up, 'dirt' stains inside the plastic sealed packaging. Also has a huge lip on one side- definitely an error in production- leaving the mattress uneven/lopsided.

Great Matrress

So far so good

I did a lot of research to find a good mattress that is low on toxic chemicals, and I am pleased with this one. I love that it is so light weight so I can get it in and out of the crib easily. It did not have a bad smell upon arrival like I have heard other mattresses do. I haven't had it very long but it seems to be a good value so far.
