Who remembers when scotch tape was actually normally full?? It’s ridiculous that there is literally nothing to a roll of tape. All of these companies are so disappointing.

Quality tanked
This is a prime example of shrinkflation. The tape is flimsy, barely sticky, just pulling it off gets it less tacky. And it’s much less in width so you need to double up just to cover the same area. Don’t spend a dime on this.

I’ll be returning this item. The dispenser doesn’t cut the tape. Is difficult to use with the neuropathy in my hands. The tape isn’t like what we grew up using.

I Do Not Recommend. Dispenser Is Useless
I purchased the 3/4 in. transparent Scotch Tape on disposable dispensers in a 4 pack. Only good quality: it sticks. I have wasted SO much tape because the cut edge does NOT cut the tape. Instead my hand slips, I pull out 3 times as much as I need, it gets stuck to itself, and I have to throw the whole length away and start over. I have to use scissors to cut it. Pretty silly. And it picks up fingerprints like crazy! Do not recommend.

scotch magic transparent tape
Don't buy the scotch tape in the RED plaid package. It's a little cheaper, but the little teeth that you tear the tape against is too low, and it hard to tear off a piece of tape. I know it sounds wierd, I never experienced this before either! I'm going to buy the lavendar or green scotch tape pckage, just not the red. Maybe this was a bad batch, but it's sad when generic wrapping tape is preferable.

Quality Tape
This remains the best quality brand for this type of tape. I prefer the transparent feature to use to secure mailing labels. The invisible or gift wrap varieties look too opaque IMO.
