We use 100% natural nitrogen as the propellant, and the space above the liquid is occupied by the nitrogen. The container is 60% liquid and 40% nitrogen to allow the nitrogen to adequately dispense the volume of liquid. This is one of my favorite air fresheners. The gain scent is strong enough to smell throughout the house but not strong enough I cause a headache. The scent lasts all day and for the price that’s amazing.
