A: Ilove mine, Recently I accidentally sucked up gum balls and luckily this vacuum has a cup things like that go into and I flipped open thetop door and took them out and finished my floors. Good luck.

A: I agree - on bare floors, it pushes like a champ. MUCH more resistance on carpet, especially high pile carpet. My 86 year old mother struggles to operate on high carpet.

A: We thought the same thing - until we modified the suction control ring. Also, on our area rugs I believe I sometimes use the hard floor option.

A: Like most vacuum cleaners there is a suction control actually just a little round ring that usually fits down on the handle and you can either open it which will give you the ability to vacuum rugs or throw rugs without having to feel like you’re pushing 400 pounds if you feel it’s not strong enough then you can close it some and you will get section ever sincecame out that’s it that’s all I buy. I will refuse to buy a Dyson one. It is expensive to. They will fall apart easily and for the third one I just don’t like them.

A: I would say there is something wrong with yours. We have had ours for 2 years and it is the easiest vacuum I’ve owned so far. I’ve never had an issue with this vacuum and I actually traded my Kirby in for this one. There is little to no resistance using this on the carpet with the brush roll on. LOVE this vacuum.

A: Yes! When you put the switch on bare floor the brushroll turns off.

A: You can turn off what I think you’re talking about, the brush roll, by putting it on bare floor.

A: Yes so when you have it you’re gonna wanna push the switch you’ll be on hard floor mode then push it back agin and you’ll be on carpet mode

A: No, the brush roll will turn off automatically once the unit is turned off.

A: Nah. You can drag the rest of the vacuum with you as you use the hose. Assuming you are strong enough to lift or drag somewhere between 12.8-16 lbs around. I have a small dog that is heavier than this vacuum ( we feed him a lot of table scraps but he is still full of energy to want to be picked up )

A: The NV360’s hose is a fixed 5 ft length and does not stretch too much beyond that. To use the hose you must press the Lift-Away button to detach the pod—this pod weighs about 7.5 lbs—then attach the hose and wand for portable cleaning.

A: The HEPA filter is expensive to replace ($40 not including shipping). The foam and cloth filters can be washed and dried and reused many times. They can also be replaced if needed for around $20.

A: It is recommended replacing the filters every 6-9 months in order to keep getting a good and strong suction power.
