Beware of possible effects
First of all, valerian root smells like gross stinky cheese. I had a Bedttime tea by Yogi with 20mg of Valerian root & it didn’t smell like this & I slept like an angel after drinking it. This tea doesn’t have it labeled exactly how much is in it, but I’d assume it’s a lot more than 20mg due to the very strong smell of Valerian Root on the teabags. I brewed a 16oz mug with 1 tea bag before bed & halfway through the mug I felt a bit nauseous (Dr. Google said this is a sign of sensitivity to the amount of the herb being ingested).. but I pushed through and finished it all. I experienced insomnia, heart palpitations, & increased heart rate. After a quick google search I read that these are common side effects because for some people valerian root has a paradoxical effect, meaning that it causes insomnia and racing heart inside of calming you & helping with sleep. So here I am writing this review at 3:30 AM with a full day of work ahead of me. Never drinking this tea again.

Wanted to love
I got this tea from my father in law and I wanted to love it so bad but I can't get past the smell. I actually thought it had gone bad but the expiration was very far away. Once steeped, it's not as bad but still faintly there even when steeped with another tea to mask the smell and flavor

works great, smells only while steeping
definitely helps with sleep, i drank one cup with with some of the olly’s melatonin and slept through the whole night. the “smell” that other reviews point out really only comes out when steeping the tea, just make sure to remove the tea bag after 10-15 minutes (before you drink) and it’ll be fine. tastes like chamomile.

shouldnt have to smell poop to sleep well
smells like literal diarrhea but i do sleep well when I use it. unfortunately i don't see myself buying again due to the gag reflex i have to choke back every time i take the tea bag out of the package and again when i start to pour boiled water onto it. taste is not reflective of the smell, but doesn't matter

Gross
I have left precious few reviews in my entire life, but this tea has spurred me to action. This tea literally smells the way morning breath tastes. My usual was out of stock and this tea had seemed like a comparable substitute, so I took a chance. If you can get past the smell, it tastes kind of okay, but even that's not great. 0 stars

This tea may work, however I could not get past the smell. The flavor is not good but worse than that it’s smells like stinky feet. Would not recommend

The blend looks good on paper, but it smells like stinky feet. I caught my husband checking the kitchen sink drain to figure out where the stank was coming from.

This was such a great little bundle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was already ordering other teas and came across this package deal and I am very glad I bought it - the little silicone tea holder and squeezer was such a great addition. I really enjoy squeezing out my herbals and this little gadget is helpful. I’m excited(?) to try the lozenges but I’ve been holding off until I am actually sick with a sore throat :)

Great blend, terrible smell
I was so excited to find a tea that combines valerian, passionflower, and lemon balm! However, the tea bags smell like rancid cheese. Thankfully the smell gets better after steeping and it tastes like peppermint unlike its odor.

Stinky ahh tea
It’s a stinky tea, but it feels pretty effective. But there’s another version of the tea called Nighty Night as well but it’s made with Chamomile & Passionflower- I’ll be returning this because of the smell and hopefully have better luck with the other type

Great tea. It's not worth the price online, barely worth in-store prices. This price point I'd rather go get an herbalist from etsy.

I give this tea a 5/5! The lemon balm and valerian root are super calming. The taste is really pleasant, not too strong, and perfect for winding down. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a relaxing cup!

Excellent product
Love this tea after a stressful day to help me get a good nights sleep. It helps relax my mind and my body and that helps for a good nights sleep. My adult son also uses this tea to help relax for bedtime. Will continue to purchase.

My cat goes crazy for the smell
It tastes bad but my car goes crazy for it. I think it’s the valerian root.
