Q: Is there an infant side and a toddler side? Or are both sides the same and can both be used for an infant?
A: Hello, the Sealy Soybean Natural Rest is a single stage mattress and has the same firmness on each side, which can be used for an infant or a toddler, great question!

Q: Does this mattress need a protective cover because it states it is water and stain resistant?
A: Great question! The Sealy Soybean Natural Dream Foam-Core Crib and Toddler Mattress offers a breathable and soft cotton cover that is waterproof and stain-resistant for easy cleaning, so a protective cover is not absolutely necessary. However a protective cover is a convenient advantage to wash and dry instead of airing out a mattress that a baby may have had an accident on.
