Oily & doesn't repel mosquitoes
This is awful. First of all, it’s super oily and gross. I was expecting a spritz type of spray. Also, I think he got bit by more mosquitos after I sprayed him than before I put it on almost like it was attracting them to him. Smells great though.

It works and isnt loaded with scary chemicals!
I found this bug repellent when my little dude was getting attacked my mosquitos. I try to be more aware what we are putting on our bodies so I started searching for a cleaner option. This kept popping up in my google searches. My next concern was if it would actually work. I’m here to say it 100 percent works. It’s very earthy or herby and strong. I personally like the smell. I feel good about spraying this all over my kiddo. My husband and I also both use this and it works for us too.

From oily to sticky
Too oily. Even layered with sunscreen be prepared to have a sunburn. It’s like living the 80’s again, smearing baby oil all over oneself. I cannot imagine putting this on a baby and exposing them to any sunlight. It does require several reapplications. It feels oily when you apply and quickly turns sticky. Everything attaches to it, bugs, dirt, leaves.

Nope! Too greasy
The product leaves a greasy and oily residue all over the skin. There are other baby safe essential oil products out there that do not leave this feeling. I won’t buy this again. It also doesn’t last very long. Maybe 30 minutes before the bugs are biting again but the grease is still there. They have an aerosol version that may be better but I won’t waste money purchasing this brand again.

Greasy and expensive
I was so excited to see a natural insect repellent option but this was a miss for us. The spray left my son looking and feeling very greasy. The scent was overall pleasant which might be its only redeeming quality. In hindsight, I suppose this should be expected from an oil-based product but it really took the wind out of the excitement I had for this product, especially given the price point. We ended up only using this once or twice and now it’s collecting dust. Next year I might try a patch method and spray this “on” something to have my kids wear, but otherwise this was a waste of money for us :(

Skin Rash
Immediately after apply to my 10 month old son he broke out in a skin rash everywhere this was applied. We washed immediately and used topical and oral Benadryl and the rash was gone in a couple days. Can you please provide the inactive ingredients list? The only known allergy my son has is pumpkin. Thank you!

Lots of bites and very oily!
I’ve been trying to use this bug spray for my littles (and myself) all summer and it seems to attract bugs to us, I always spray from 10-12” away and yet always manage to be an oily mess, I get grass and dirt all stuck to my legs and have to shower to get the oil off after. I wanted to like this but I really think you’re better off with a different spray

Great scent!

Chemical Free
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this is chemical/deet free. It does have a strong smell but I believe that is what makes it work. I typically buy this to send to my kids school in the summer since they are outside a lot. I will say it does not work consistently, especially in our backyard as I notice the kids still have bite marks occasionally.
