not for fine hair
too heavy for fine hair no matter how little you use. don't recommend if you have fine hair that can be sensitive to product build up. had to use a clarifying shampoo to get the residue out even after I stopped using this product. I'm sure it's fine for others with thicker hair or hair that's in need of extra moisture. it's also heavily scented which I didn't mind but I'm sure others might.

Far from weightless. Fellow fine folks, don't waste your money.
If you have a decent amount of hair, this may be fine for you. I have thin, very fine hair, and tried this several times. Each time, my hair was greasy and weighed down. I made sure to apply it when my hair was soaking wet; it didn’t matter. I tried to focus it on my ends; it didn’t matter. I tried both spraying it directly and spraying a single spritz on my hands then lightly passing that over my wet hair; still greasy. And I typically go three days between washes. I could go longer but my hair just looks so thin by day four, I need to redo it, so my hair is far from greasy naturally.

BEWARE KRISTIN ESS HAIR
used this product from 2024 until recently, it absolutely destroyed my hair. The first month of using the products of this brand is great, but over time it destroys your hair. In the span of a year my hair loss 3-5 inches of length from damage. My hair became so weak and brittle. This product does a faux imitation of hydrating by leaving a waxy film on the hair that’s SO DRYING. Please stay away from this!

Hair type: 2A mixed with 2B, fine/medium strands, medium fullness, frizzy. This is the ONLY leave in conditioner to work for me. I even bedazzled the bottle lol. I’ve gone through 2 bottles going on to my third and It’s amazing for my hair, Holy Grail status. I went through so many leave in conditioners and in the end I came back to this one, I would even say it could be a dupe for a more expensive brand that I tested both together and got similar results but with the Kristen ess leave in providing better texture to my waves. Provides the perfect amount of moisture leaving my hair soft and silky, it’s lightweight so it doesn’t weigh my hair down. I found that for best results it has to be with my hair soaking wet/just wet than towel dried. Big bottle, lasts me a long time. I love fragrance and for it to last and this one is good not too strong imo. The only con I will give is it doesn’t have heat protectant. PLEASE DON’T CHANGE THE FORMULA.

My 9 year old granddaughter has waist-length hair and it's just wild. This is the only detangler that she doesn't complain about when combing her hair after a shower. It used to be such a fight to get her to wash her hair because she hated it being brushed out because it hurt. I was a little nervous about buying this because I have very fine, incredibly straight hair that gets weighed down and looks greasy very easily, but this product is amazing!! It makes my hair feel so soft and silky without leaving any residue or heaviness to my hair. It doesn’t help 100% with frizz, but I have noticed it is decreased and my hair seems so much more shiny. Great leave in conditioner for hydrated hair! I usually work it into my hands then scrunch up my curls and then afterwards spray onto hair so that it’s nice and saturated. I love how it smells and how it doesn’t weigh down my hair. I also love this price point and it’s perfect to use during the summer!
