Q: Are these individually wrapped? - in the picture it shows that they are not, just wanted to check.

submitted by glmclark - 6 years ago
  • A: This item isnt individual wrapped. It is placed in a big plastic that has the label logo on it and is just bare into.

    submitted byDream207 - 5 years ago
  • A: Hi, glmclark - These packages will almost always arrive without inner plastic wrap. Thanks!

submitted byScott Expert - 6 years ago

  • A: No these are not individually wrapped. Once you open the outer plastic that contains all the rolls, the rolls do not have another wrapper. All you will see is toilet paper.

submitted byThe Cookster - 5 years ago
  • A: I just picked some up last week. Inside the plastic wrap they were individually wrapped. I believe this is because of Covid and the mfg making less choices.

submitted byThe Cookster - 5 years ago
  • A: Scott Expert did not answer the question. Is each roll individually wrapped with the SCOTT Logo paper?

submitted byConsumer - 6 years ago
  • A: I ordered a pkg for myself, my son & my sister. Some pkgs of 36 rolls were wrapped one was not. Also, I think one order was 1100 sheets per roll. Could be they were wrapped.

submitted byEllen - 4 years ago
  • A: Just wanted to add my experience, the packages I got did not have individual wrap on them. Hope this helps someone. :)

  • A: This is the worst toilet paper I have ever experienced. It has abosolutely no absorbancy! It was a total waste of money. I wouldn't wish this product on anyone.

submitted byDRO - 3 years ago

Q: It says 1000 sheets but you have to fold it over 4 times to get the same "wipe" power as good toilet paper. Why is not thicker?

submitted by limey1217 - 5 years ago
  • A: I remember when Scott tissue was a 2-ply toilet paper. It is not what it used to be. Very disappounted in this product now.

submitted byLisa - 5 months ago
  • A: Hi! Our Scott 1000 toilet paper has been thoughtfully designed and tested to start breaking down quickly, making it gentle on plumbing systems. If you value a thicker tp, you may fall in love with our Scott ComfortPlus toilet paper. We hope that helps - thanks!

  • A: It 1-ply, sewer-safe tissue for those of us with septic or bad plumbing. It doesn't clog your pipes.

  • A: HERE ARE MY "THRIFTY "THOUGHTS....THINK ABOUT THE COSTS PER ROLL OF ANY BRAND OF 2 PLY THAT ARE BASICALLY 276 TO 324 SHEETS PER ROLL. THESE ARE 1000 SHEETS PER ROLL SO EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO FOLD THEM OVER TWO TIMES, YOU NOW HAVE 500 SHEETS PER ROLL FOR LESS THAN $. 50....SOUNDS GOOD TO ME !!!

Now, I won't lie—it's not the plushest or thickest TP on the block. But what it lacks in fluff, it makes up for in sheer determination. It's septic-safe, dissolves quickly, and won't clog your pipes, making it perfect for households with sensitive plumbing. Also this is the tissue I've found through research with the least leftover fuzzies—and you know what I mean! 🙃

Don’t like it. I bought since it said septic safe not realizing it was 1 ply. 🙃. It rips when you use it and need to use three times as much. Plus it sticks 🫢. To be septic safe it would need to be thinner, so I guess for those folks it will work but for me it’s a NO

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In terms of texture, Scott leans more toward utility than luxury. It’s a 1-ply paper, which means it’s thinner than premium options like Charmin or Cottonelle, but it's also less likely to clog pipes or septic systems, making it a favorite in older homes or for RV and boat use. What it lacks in plushness, it makes up for in durability. The sheets are surprisingly strong for their weight and hold up better than expected during use. However, if softness is a top priority, this might not be the most satisfying choice—Scott is more about function than indulgence. Overall, Scott Toilet Paper is dependable, budget-friendly, and efficient. It’s best suited for those who prioritize practicality and longevity over luxury. Great for everyday use, especially in high-traffic bathrooms.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was disappointed with Scott 1000 toilet paper. While it does offer a lot of sheets per roll, the paper itself is just too thin. I found myself needing to use more than usual to feel clean, which kind of defeats the purpose of having so many sheets. I wish it were a bit thicker and softer — that would make it a much better value and more comfortable to use. Unfortunately, I won’t be repurchasing this one.

No breaking the bank. Plus it's a well known brand. I like not having to worry about poking a hole through it. Never good.

If you have old plumbing you might consider this because it dissolves quickly . The price is extremely affordable so I can see how this would be an option for some people however because the paper is so thin you would have to use more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A convenient quantity of normal sized rolls. Scott 1000 isn't as cheap as commercial 2 ply, but it isn't as thick as it either. 1000 has a kind of fluffed paper texture, that while soft does not have the same strength as Scott Commercial Recycled 2 ply if you like using toilet paper to wipe up small messes. Where Scott 1000 excels is in softness, it is much less scratchy than the aforementioned line from the same brand, and instead of fiber grain Scott 1000 is a more affordable way to get the softness of higher dollar toilet paper. This product was received in exchange for this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using Scott® 1000 for a bit now, and overall, it’s a solid pick if you're after something that lasts and saves money. It’s not super absorbent like those thick, fluffy brands, but it still does the job. You might need a few more sheets, but nothing too crazy. It’s definitely not the softest—kind of thin and a bit rough. If you're used to really plush toilet paper, this might take some getting used to. One great thing is that it’s septic-safe and breaks down easily, so it’s good for plumbing and more eco-friendly. They also use responsibly sourced materials, which is a nice plus. Even though it’s 1-ply, it’s tougher than you’d expect. It doesn’t tear too easily, so you don’t feel like you’re wasting it. This is where it really wins. With 1000 sheets per roll, it lasts forever. Great if you hate changing rolls all the time or just want to save money. Not the softest out there, but it’s strong, lasts a long time, and is easy on the wallet. Definitely worth it if you’re going for practicality over luxury.

As the photo shows, you can clearly see my hand through it—it’s almost transparent. Compared to even a basic Amazon brand, this stuff is laughably flimsy. It’s not soft, not absorbent, and even if you wrap your hand like a mummy, it still doesn’t do the job. Honestly, I wouldn’t even give this to my broke college niece. Some things you just can’t cut corners on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lasts up to 1 month, is the statement on the package. I laughed so hard when I pulled from the roll for the first time because this toilet paper is so sheer!!! I needed double, if not triple the amount of tp that I normally would, not to mention it doesn't have durability when you're wiping (front or back). I never thought I'd say no to free toilet paper, especially after the pandemic, but this was a big fat NO!! We are going to finish it because we are not wasters, but I would never spend money on this or recommend to a friend. The only recommendation I'll give is to stay away unless you don't mind your fingers breaking through the tp when you're wiping!
