submitted byJessica - 4 months agoA: Thanks for your question Alex. The K-Café coffee maker does not brew espresso - it brews espresso style beverages. It does not use pressure to brew the K-Cup pods. It brews the K-Cup pods the way any other Keurig brewer brews them, but since it only brews at a 2oz size, it is a more concentrated, stronger cup of coffee that resembles the flavor and roast of a classic espresso beverages. A: If interested, I'm a Keurig user and if you go to the Keurig website (www.keurig.com), you can order their coffee, etc cups. They come in red, yellow and blue, with the "Keurig symbol," in the front.

A: Absolutely! Just lift and lower the handle without inserting a K-Cup pod and press the COFFEE button. The 4 cup sizes will blink. Select your cup size and press the blinking brew button. The K-Cafe Special Edition will simply brew out hot water. We hope this helps!

A: The K-Café Special Edition cannot froth and heat water at the same time. While the brewer is heating, the frother cannot be turned on. Once heated, you will be able to choose the "Shot" button while your milk is frothing. Hope this is helpful!

I loved this coffee machine however it’s not worth it in the long run and I will no longer buy this brand as I’m constantly replacing them no matter how many times I’ve cleaned it it’s just stops working. Maybe it’s just my luck but I’ve ended up replacing this brand of coffee machine 3 times in the course of three years.

I was getting discouraged with my keurig 2.0. Unable to find economical reusable pods to use, the one thing I looked forward to in the morning wasn't fun, until this. Best thing I've purchased in years. Makes making coffee fun in the morning again. I look forward to it every day. Latte in minutes. Brilliant. Warm, cof you want old brew, doesn't matter! Wonderful. The machine its self is nice looking and not too large, so it fits nicely on our coffee bar. However, this was to replace a previous Keurig, and I will have to say I honestly liked our old one a bit better. Our last one heated the water quicker and it allowed us program favorite settings for quick access to make our preferred coffee (amount/strength/etc). If I had the option to do it again, I’d probably buy the original one we had.

I love the machine. It delivers great cup of coffee and the Latte and Cappuccino are great. My only complaint is it is very noisy as it warms the water and makes the coffee.

This a fun little machine. I used to have a Keurig 2.0 (model 500) and the pin that punctured the cup kept breaking off. The design on this machine is excellent. We love our lattes and caps. Brews tea, too. This is easy to use and easy to clean. It is fast and efficient.

Don’t expect to be making fancy designs. It feels like forever to make a cup of coffee. The frother doesn’t work half the time. Trying to get brewed cup of coffee and frother to complete at the same time is impossible.

I was thinking about getting an espresso machine, but I heard that it’s such hard maintenance and I am lazy, so my uncle ended up having this at his house, and he gave me a cup of coffee, and I fell in absolute love. I didn’t know I could have a cappuccino without an espresso machine, and at a fraction of the cost, so I love this machine. I bought it. I everyone who comes to my house gets to have a cappuccino, and everybody asked me about the machine, because even people who don’t drink coffee fall in love with the coffee from this machine because it has a froth. It is so easy to use so easy to clean, and I am addicted to my cappuccinos daily.

It's nice enough, but it doesn't stay hot all the time. You have to turn it on in the morning and wait for it to heat up... not for long; maybe 1.5 minutes, but I was used to the one that was ready to go all the time. The milk frother works best with skim milk. The nut milks get airy, but not real frothy. The nut creamers, like Nut Pods, works almost as well as the skim milk in the frother.

Can’t believe that a leader in coffee brewers delivers an expensive Keurig Cafe Elite and doesn’t include a water filter!!!! It’s to me an inexpensive (now considered an “accessory “) for better quality experience. Shame on them for trying to be cheap and make you buy it !!!!!
