Cheap plastic
These feel very cheap. They don’t look cheap from afar but when you are close up you can see it looks like painted plastic not metal. They scratch easily and from the screws to lock the polls in place.

assembly confusion
These rods arrived in excellent shape, but instead of being two rods; 76" & 84", there were 3 rods 55". I took three of us to dtermine how to get the rods attached to make 106 inches. We finally realized that 2 of the rods were a wider diameter than the third rod. So we needed to unscrew the finale from the smaller diameter rod so that could be the middle piece, that fit into the two wider diameter pieces.

These are not quality items. The metal gauge is very thin, the color has a gold hue with the matte silver, the item arrived scratched and dented, the end cap is made of a plastic composite-not metal. The end cap arrived broken. I will be returning this to the store.
