Staub Cast Iron 4-qt Round Cocotte - Dark Blue

I wanted one of these for a long time. Couldn’t believe the sale price. Excellent pot for little things. Arrived quickly and packaged well.

Amazing! I waited far too long and went through other less expensive brands when I see the value and benefit of a brand that has stood behind their product. No lie the meals I have made for years are better in this. The self basting lid design truly results in more tender and moist meat ...I have actually had to slightly adjust techniques that I was compensating for in my previous cookware. It also is important that I am cooking in non toxic ceramic cookware for my family. Cleanup has been easier as I have learned quickly to adjust my cooking technique to avoid sticking. But even when I had sticking, baking soda did the trick! While I got this on sale which makes it an absolute no brainer good value, it is worth the investment at full price. For reference, I have gone through 3 less expensive brand Dutch ovens in the past 7 years and it feels great knowing this piece will be handed down. I can't wait to get my next Staub piece!

I love Staub cast iron! The quality, the sturdiness, and the fact I don't have to baby it when I cook hard in it is a joy. Gets the job done and looks great while doing it!

Good quality and gorgeous color

I have been eyeing these for years agonizing over the size to get since I am only a family of 3 with a Glass cook top. So glad I got this size... Perfect for the soups and Curries I am looking to make.

This dutch oven is gorgeous! The quality is unsurpassed and will compliment any home chefs collection. I love not only the quality of the dutch oven, but also how evenly it heats and browns.

I love the Basil color, it looks great with my Cerise 5qt Le Creuset braiser (Staub needs to make a large one). The build is excellent this will last me my whole life, the black interior is favored so I/m not fighting stains that don't matter but annoy me. Its the perfect size for a single meal, I will need to get a larger one 7-9 qt for bigger crowds of course. Looking forward to many years with this piece of functional art.

I absolutely love my Staub Dutch oven in Basil with the brass top — it’s quickly become one of my most used and admired pieces of cookware. I love this pot! It visually looks gorgeous and cooked my oxtail meat and chicken evenly and nice. Very efficient use for 1-2 person serving

Love the color and shape of this Dutch oven! The size is perfect for a dinner to serve 3-4 people.

Since I haven’t been able to find a cassoulet in any local restaurants, I decided to buy this Dutch oven and make my own. The fact it is made in France only added to its appeal. But before I tackle that dish, I decided to make a pot roast as a warm up. It turned out great! I used a Martha Stewart recipe I found on line and was very happy with how easy and delicious it was. By the way, I am 78 years old and have very little cooking experience. Glad I bought this Staub product!

I own the 4 qt, 5.5 qt & 7 qt in Grenadine. These are absolutely gorgeous and sexy. The color is so deep and vibrant. The high quality craftsmanship is apparent from the moment you open the box. The enamel is so much smoother and more durable than the cheaper brands. I have no doubt they will be family heirlooms. I resisted getting the bougie brands, but decided to try one Staub and one LC. Now I’m addicted and my collection has grown. These are actually a pleasure to cook in and I look forward to making meals. I use them almost daily. They can do anything and cleanup is a breeze.
