Heating pad that doesn't heat
We had previously bought this heating pad and it worked very well. That was a few years ago. We recently purchased another one and it did not get hot. We had to return it so I’m not sure if they changed the way they made it or this was just a lemon.

This is my second time purchasing, and I am still not impressed. I really can't get over the strong plastic smell. I've let it air out for weeks and wiped it down. I threw out my other one for this reason, but apparently they all smell. It doesn't stay hot for too long either. Not the worst, but I definitely won't purchase again.

Not nearly warm enough
4 temperature settings, apparently. The highest one is barely lukewarm. My last heating pad had 6 temp settings and this one at highest is probably about what my old one was at lowest setting. Returning and hoping to find a better brand that actually feels nice and warm on my back.

Exceptional warranty
I purchased my Pure heating pad 4yrs ago and it has been everything. Last week it quit working and I was heart broken. I called the warranty phone number and received a cheerful voice on the line. His name was Scott, I explained to him how much I have enjoyed this product and he was very reassuring that I could receive a new Pure heating pad under warranty. This 24" heating pad has been a game changer. My previous, very old, heating pad quit and I needed one immediately for a strained QL muscle.
