Q: Can a 40w bulb be used in place of the 25w? The 25w isn't melting the wax very well at all.
A: Debra, mine came with a 40 W bulb (I checked when it burnt out) and it melted the wax perfectly. Just hard to find a replacement/the exact bulb.
submitted byMaura - 6 months agoA: Debra, check the bottom of your warmer and there should be an info sticker with specs for the bulb. But yes, 40w came with mine and worked great. Look for bulb type ST
submitted byMandy - 4 days agoA: Hello Debra - We appreciate your interest in this product. we do not recommend using a 40w bulb. I hope this helps, happy shopping at Target! - Griffin
submitted byGriffin - 11 months agoTarget staff supportA: Hi Debra. The same wattage bulb should be used as a replacement in your warmer. Installing a higher wattage bulb is not recommended, voids any warranty, and could pose a safety risk. Try moving your warmer to another room away from any windows, A/C vents, or fans for optimal functionality.

Q: The box sayd 40w bulb E12 was included, but the highlight details sayd 25 Watt, 120 V, Type G50 Bulb included. What should I buy to replace it?
A: Regina, the above answer is correct: 40w bulb. Also more specifically, according to an answer below, you want style ST38 base. Zoom in closely & you can see "40W" on the left of bulb in product pic.

Q: What is the correct bulb? I tried everything listed in the Q&A’s, product description, and reviews. I tried 25W 120V G50–doesn’t melt wax. The 40W E12 doesn’t fit. I’m beginning to think something is wrong with my warmer.
A: Thanks for reaching out. This warmer takes a 40watt warmer bulb, style ST38 base candelabra. We wish you the best.
submitted byRimports Fragrance Team - 14 days agoBrand expertA: 40w is correct for this warmer. Bottom of your unit should have an info sticker with specs. Mine says 40w, 120v, style 'ST', so I believe the answer above is right, ST38 candelabra base. Edison-style.

Q: What could be preventing my wax from melting? I've had the warmer on for hours and wax is still in tact
A: Probably type of bulb used. There's confusion about that re: this product. IT USES 40W EDISON-STYLE BULB, 120v, ST38 CANDELABRA BASE. It shows 40W in product pic. Also check sticker on warmer's base.

Q: How do you remove old wax?
A: There are multiple ways to clean wax warmers to prepare for a new wax cube. 1) Cotton Ball Method: While warmer is turned on and wax melted, add cotton balls to soak up majority of the melted wax, turn off and wait until wax cools, then throw away cotton balls and wipe down hot plate. 2) Soft Wax Method: Let wax cool, turn on warmer for 2-3 minutes, then remove softened wax.
