Purchased for my daughter as her ‘other brand’ was constantly having issues with the open/close mechanism. I have had this bin for almost 8 years with no issues whatsoever. Often admired by visitors, 2 of which have purchased the same bin. Really good to have both recycling and general waste side by side in one single slim line bin!

Small apartment life begs for a dual compartment can. I’ve never been disappointed with a simplehuman product - the name says it all.

This is the best bin ever. Holds a fair amount of rubbish and recycling. It opens beautifully and doesn’t hit the wall. It’s relatively space saving too. I use a bag for the recycling and then transfer it into a larger recycling bag.

This product is real good and useful for recycling. It also looks great in the kitchen.

I just moved from a large house to an apartment. I wanted a sleek dual trash can…and one that I could slide around my kitchen if need be. Remember, it’s an apartment. Sick of foot pedals on trashcans (my house can was the very large simplehuman dual with foot pedal) and wary of touchless (what if the system fails) I wen with this small touch-bar and I love it! The compartments are perfect for 1 or 2 people. The liners fit perfectly! Don’t fret over the price of liners: they are really thick, fit perfectly and because the trash can keeps odors in perfectly, you can truly fill the can up using fewer liners. One more thing I love about this touch-bar: it stays open on its own. That’s the big difference from a foot pedal. I love it! Yes…I love a trashcan!

I bought this for my elderly parents. I already own one (purchased in 2018) so I know how good a design this is. It makes the business of sorting trash from recyclables simple and tidy. It will only work if your council doesn’t require you to separate out all your recyclables into types (paper, tin, plastic, etc). Luckily ours takes everything except for soft plastics- even glass. It all goes in one bin. So the blue recycling side of this bin design is brilliant. The strong liners, specially designed to fit the trash compartment, encourage you to compress your rubbish, so it takes up less space in landfill. This also means you use fewer bin liners, save on plastic, and possibly also save money. The ones designed for this bin don’t rip. I love the Touch Bar opening - perfect if you are in a hurry, or don’t want to touch the lid. I am a big fan of the lid design, covering the top of the bin liner neatly and stylishly. So, if you have no other place for a bin in your kitchen other than a space that is highly visible, this sleek bin is just the job.

Love my new bin it makes it much easier to sort my rubbish a big bin. It’s compact Don’t know why I wasted my money on other bins. This is definitely the best.

This is the next of many Simplehuman products we have purchased, and once again impressed by the thoughtful, simple and easy to use design. I know someone has really considered how these products look and perform. And they last. Can’t recommend highly enough.

It’s a first class bin, both in quality and design. Arrived astoundingly fast too. I have previously bought Simplehuman products and this bin, as well as all the other items I have bought , are first class.

I like it very much especially the fact that it has 2 spaces one for trash. and one side for recycles.

I chose this receptacle because its dimensions were right for what I needed. Lid opener works nicely. Unfortunately the interior is divided into two bins which are super narrow and awkward sizes. I am now contemplating removing them so it’s just a single container.

I am really pleased with this bin. I wasn’t 100% sure it would suit our needs but it does! It has helped to simplify recycling storage and it sits nicely in a better position in our kitchen than the old one did. The touch-bar works well. Overall we are very impressed with it and I’m so glad I took the plunge to try one.

The combined recycling and garbage can makes my kitchen look so much nicer.
