Q: Will this fit a 2004 mini cooper?

  • A: These are the dimensions - hope that helps! Height 27.40 x Width 14.41 x Depth 18.07 - so it is pretty slim and lightweight at around 12 lbs. Cannot say for certain it will fit your car as each car is different and there are different interior packages in each car that can impact install. I have never had any trouble installing Graco car seats in any of my cars or relative's cars.

Difficult to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice seat but it’s difficult to install. We tried multiple times but seat still too loose, greater than the inch wiggle room required. We will revisit the instruction manual and try again. Right now it’s not ready for a baby.

Terrible Head Support

The head support is HORRIBLE. I do not feel comfortable driving my baby around in this car seat, I had to pull over twice on a five minute drive because his head was at a 90 degree angle! So disappointed!!

Excited to Start Using it!

Great affordable car seat!

This seat is affordable, comfortable and so light weight! They grow out of the infant seat so quickly this is perfect for the price since all seats are safety tested the same. Amazing

For the price it isn’t a terrible option but it has very little padding. The straps would dig into my newborns neck and the “headrest” is just this thin flimsy cushion. The visor didn’t come down very far so the sun was always in his eyes. You have to unvelcro the back to pull it down further but then the Velcro grabs the side of the seat and tears it up. To adjust the handle you have to hit the buttons on both sides which isn’t a huge deal but it can be a pain. The other models just have a single button. It is very lightweight which is a plus but it constantly got stuck in the base and the stroller (which was a graco click connect compatible one). At the end of the day itll get the job done but if you’re able to afford the DLX, just do it. We traded this one in for the DLX and it’s so much nicer. My son actually likes his car seat now!

Our last car seat was a struggle to tote around all the time. The safety and quality of the car seat are great! The shade cover is a little noisy and jerky but is functional. Overall we have been pleased with the product especially at the lower price point than many other infant car seats..

Lightweight, reliable, and practical — not premium

We’ve been using the Graco SnugRide 35 Lite for our baby, and overall it does what it’s supposed to do without overcomplicating things. It’s lightweight compared to other car seats, which actually makes a difference when you’re constantly taking it in and out of the car.
