Size is great, but this comforter doesn’t last. 8 months after purchase and many of the sections no longer have filling. We essentially now have a glorified double sheet on our bed. I would not repurchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had the same Downlite comforter for almost 2 years. It was great and held up well. Bought another to replace the old one. In 2 years this product has changed. It’s now lighter weight, has less filling and it’s not the bright white color it used to be. We could tell all this because they were side by side and honestly if it weren’t for some of the stains on the old comforter you would have thought that was the new one. I tried everything too- shaking it, fluffing it, letting it sit out but it’s been 2 weeks and the old one still looks and feels better. Not sleeping as good either so now we are looking for a different brand.

The brand name ‘Downlite’ suggests products filled with down, but this comforter, which costs over $200, is actually filled with polyester.

But recently my husband and I have been having fights over the covers and it doesn't help when our 15# dogs sleeps right in the middle of us. So I searched for an extra large King comforter and found this one. We have had it for a couple of weeks and absolutely LOVE it!! My husband says he doesn't even notice me getting out of bed in the morning, we don't fight over the covers. The only draw back is that it is incredibly so comfortable and warm that it makes getting out of bed in the morning extra hard! I wish I had found this comforter sooner.

The down alternative shifts and some areas didn't have any

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reviews over-hype this comforter. I was seriously influenced by all the positive reviews. I would say that 4 stars is pretty positive, but it could be worth more like 3 stars. It's hot. Way too hot for Alabama, or in general. I'm not sure where everyone lives or how they sleep, but it will only be able to be used in the winter. Yes, it's fluffy, cozy, soft and huge. I knew it was huge, but honestly it's so much more the manage that I had hoped. If you could find something not as long but will still hang over as much on the sides, that would be perfect... So now I'm thinking of taking it to the seamstress to get part of it cut off. Not to mention the wrinkles are horrible and make it look so messy. They wouldn't come out.

Have had this for a long time now, love it, drawback is it's hard to fit in the washer.

Do not purchase. It is nice out of the package but trash once you wash it! I followed washing instructions and all of the stuffing clumped up in random balls. It is a lumpy sheet now.
